  1. Gift package??? Hand shake???
  2. Nice weathering! Like it its a wagon!
  3. I have one of those resin van bodies I am going to use to make a stock van... the bodies are pretty nice.
  4. WOW! Tom.... VERY NICE!!! I use to live within 1 block of a station like that one...very nice work!
  5. I am from Quincy,IL.
  6. OK....Way too COOL!!!!!!!!!!!! I am loving this build! I have a similar build idea if I ever find the needed parts? That thing is Cool Sam.
  7. Thats not shabby Chuck. Nice haul at the show and a 69 Lincoln! Nice!
  8. Brandon.... How about a 60s Mopar wagon project???? Make a good tow vehicle?
  9. Nice trucks guys! My favorite was the 70s Mod Ford set--70s Ford pickup, trailer, dirt track car set....loved building them as a kid.
  10. Nice in deed !
  11. SWEET vans!.... Love the window van too! very nice. Yep the older AMT Chevy van kits did not have the roof ribbing on them..too bad they missed it...makes a lot of difference in the looks. I have the one that is supposed to have the roof top camper on it but is missing from the kit...too bad it would make a really cool period motor-home instead of the big hole it has now.
  12. I loved the camper tank....gridlock...what gridlock???
  13. There right Johnny....your the bigger man and possibly saving a friendship. It sounds like it was in pretty bad shape anyways but I don't blame you for wanting to try and save the old girl....I am the same way with the ones that need help or a good home. Like I said I have a unbuilt Mack here been opened only.
  14. Johnny....I have an unbuilt Mack R6855T? here I will probably never get to building.
  15. Very nicely done.
  16. At least yours gets some of them Johnny...ares gets only leftover leftovers?
  17. Really nice Aurora kits there Joe!...had those when I was a kid from a hardware store.
  18. Very Nice Dave!.... My dad use to drive one of those and remember riding in it well.....needs to be put into plastic production.
  19. I just got a really nice score!!!...but its not my scale though... 1981 Monogram Kenworth W-900 conventional semi kit---unbuilt--complete except for the box--1/16th scale--very very nice including the decals......now just to figure out what to do with it?
  20. I think it looks better than the 4door and like the wall to wall taillights.....now to see if they make a supercharged version?
  21. Pretty cool...too bad for the bird though.
  22. I agree with you all but to me the old version and simplified kits are great kits still...just gives one the opportunity to use their skills/experience to make them as detailed as one wishes. I like both the newer issues and the older ones...just wish they would get back to the 3 in 1 concept again and/or include the original accessories some came with. Many kits over the years has had problems with lack of detail and very faint trim on the bodies, etc. It is nice to see the companies are thinking of the older kits again though....some body styles are timeless.
