Hi Nice AMX project there! i have the johan too, its the same as yours for the most part. wish johans were still around...they were always one of my favorites,be nice to find some that were still affordable. a friend of mine had a 70 amx painted Big Bad Blue-original color,sure looked good.

Hi Big Panda!.....i use super clean degreaser straight with out mixing or deluding, make sure you wear disposeable rubber exam type gloves....its hard on your hands. it takes almost any paint off for me. after cleaning i wash with soapy warm water to remove any residue that may be left.be careful around the wing window posts with the tooth brush.....mark

Hi Mustang3.8 jeff is right the shocks will help handling of the car,rear sway bar will too. go with at least a 70s series tire so it will grab the road. i use to have a 84 monte SS with a HO 305 that was 0.40 over rebuilt engine.....man i miss that car,preformance,handling,and plenty of classy looks....enjoy the new ride.

Hi Kyle! the best advise i have ever been given is to treat each part as if it were a model itself on any part of your models....it really helps them look great! keep up the good work,as time gos by and you get some experience you will be amazed at how good there looking.....happy modeling.

Hi....im going to have to say its a model,but at first glance i wanted to say real....the reason for saying model is the tires arent squiched from the weight of the car.....thats the only reason though. very nice!!!

Not to bad for your first build! you should have seen mine....i still have it and will need to rebuild it badly, i did a terrible job on it. yours is pretty good for a first one....better than my first for sure.

Hi they really should consider doing them,in my opinion there missing the boat from talking to other builders and collectors over the years. ive always had someone asking about wagons and 4door sedans from the 60s body styles. they need to remember models are replicas of the real world....no any street any town every car is not an SS-GTX-GT,besides i think its time for something different, dont you all?
