reaper crew...........welcome to the site! these guys/gals are the best! there always willing to help if they can........my best advice i can give you on building was given to me by a friend years ago....treat every part as if it were a model itself and your builds will come-out nice.....i have followed this advice and its helped my builds get better and better over the years.....mark

I had this kit as a kid and still have it somewhere in a box..........very cool kit. if you like crazy customs you will like it....i did.

HI..........im not 100 percent sure but it kind of sounds like the problem that is caused by painting lacquer type paint over an enamel paint, really makes a mess and sometimes gives the plastic the appearance of a vinyl top or like alligator skin.... some paints out there say they are enamel but in fact there a lacquer based paint like krylon, odds and ends,ect. usually you can tell a lacquer paint by its smell very strong or will say fast drying .....ive never really had much luck with lacquers but will eventually have to switch with paints going to lacquers....it is hard to say for sure what happen here without knowing exactly what was used with what paints and im not an expert by any means.....its just an idea.....hope it helps. mark

Those are way too cool ! love the look of the jet drive, reminds me of my childhood build of the aqua rod chevy van and boat kit i had........love the seats !

Hi Guys......ive used solder before to make things like headers,plumbing,tubing...........it bends very easily and paints well.

Hi Mike........can we include christmas shopper drivers with the lists of dangerous driving conditions? kind-of seems like from november to march in my area drivers loose their minds and common sense. i can relate to the winter conditions....ice, snow, heavy rain, ect. are dangerous in itself then ad drivers that are not concentrating on driving.........really bad conditions....there are a few people that can use a cellphone and drive, but there is only a few....me myself i think if one cant multi task dont.....its just safer for eveyone....ive seen drivers reading papers or books while driving? to me its simple .....we all have the responsibility to pay attention while behind the wheel no-matter what type of weather were driving in....ive been in several serious accidents,most due to lack of concentration of others or due to weather conditions.....yes you all are right....we all must be careful out there.
