Hi, the little old lady that told me that was probably in her late 70s she was quite a cut-up.....see had me laughing so hard i had tears in my eyes.....some of the others she told me i cant say here. lively old gal,she sould have been a comedian for a living ! i thought i was going to blush on some of them. all i can say is she must have been something back in the day. turtle rancher? you were the one that referred me to this wonderful site with all its wonderful people......thanks! there is days where it keeps me going so to speak. had i not,i wouldnt have met all new friends ive found here including yourself. the relatives i have that live near clearwater have little turtles in a pond they care for and release when their big enough to be on their own.....they can only do a few at a time but i think its great.........thanks everyone for the help,god bless mark

its kind-of dry here, but the cold is a wet feeling cold so it goes to the bone.....or in my case bone/metal? its even cool in my house.....maybe if we all think warm it will be warm?...naaaaa that wont work ive tried that already. the springs around here have ice sickles on them already...........im tempted to take a blow torch to them! bad old ice sickles......we had snow spitting in the wind last night too. think summer think summer, dang it didnt work....well at least im trying.....take care and god bless, mark

Hi Lyn, it only got up to 40 today, and is suppose to start getting cooler this week......YUCK ! i hate winter. you lucky dogs. i much rather it be in the mid 80s here year round.....is that too much to ask santa for? and of course my birthday lands on February so its still very cold and windy with that funny white stuff all over the ground. for my birthday last year i was sicker than a dog,hopefully this year ill be able to hide from it. last time it took me 5 days to get over it. got the flu shot this year.....so ha ha you viruses! nothing a two or three hour beach visit wouldnt cure at least mentally......have a great day and god bless.mark

Hi guys, my first model was the johan haulin hearse.........yes i still have it......and the old flat box it came in, cant show photos though....its disassembled and in the works of getting cleaned up for restoration project......man i was too young or inexperienced for this thing at the time. my dad got it for me.....they need to get johans back out on the market. mark

Hi guys, tell me about it....the prices have gone nuts....and in my area nothing new ever shows up,except tuner cars which i dont care for so when i can manage to buy something to work on i have to go to e bay....double ouch! i just dont understand why the kits have gone up so much? i remember when the kits were great 3 in 1s , and not so thin that its fragile enough to get damaged in its own box. i can remember buying kits like these for $ 1.99 ? and wouldnt mind paying more with-in reason if they were more like they use to be.....almost makes you feel cheated over it all at times,omitting options,parts,ect. ,not to mention most shops will not return an open kit....how are you going to know the condition of it without opening it????? mark

Hi Crazyjim, people drive stupid up here too,when it snows or we have an ice storm its almost funny to watch some times. stupid driving is why im in my position im in.18 year old kid with moms car 60mph in a 30 with me stoped at a red light....not what id call smart driving ya know? if you could keep an eye out for the parts i need for my dads old models,it would be great! there old and theirs no way the model companies could replace the parts/ect. i need to find. they were in storage for years and have parts damaged too badly to fix or just are missing parts. i have relatives in the Donedon area my uncle, have been there before and i love it there...sand key beach is one of my favorite places to go when weve visited....its just beautiful there. you all are lucky its 25 digress right now here.....freezin my but off....did i mention i hate winter? hurry up summer! you guys and girls have a good time playing/working and thanks a lot! god bless. mark

Hi James, thanks for the info! ive done that before to replace glass in some, however these have a odd almost a convex type of shape to them and regretfully this wont work with these...ive tried. thanks ! mark
