  1. I to am into the wagons,it would be great to have wagons of 67 to 70 chevys , 66 to 70 pontiacs, 65 to 70 plymouths, 63 to 70 oldsmobiles and buicks. there are a lot more wagon and 4 door builders out there than realized.

  11. Go ahead and agree with me.......i passed up so many good deals....my reason....stupidity! i had the car for 2 days on top of it.....i had at the time a rare 75 trans am first edition pace car....HO 400, auto,373 positrac, 160mph speedo, slap stick, functional shaker scoop, witch we put the largest hyd cam in........it would do the 160 at 3800rpm. 4 wheel disc car...one of 72 produced between pontiac and local dealer here. i guess i was blinded by love....
  12. Sure........if i can remember that long ago.....should be able to help if needed....you will like this....we had several rare tradins come in and i almost bought one, im a stupid guy for not....ether a 76 or 77 aspen R/T with the louvered side and back windows, 360 cid v8, 4 speed on the floor,w/boot only no console, high back buckets petty blue w/med blue interior.....car was absolutely scary if you didnt whatch it with the positrac........stupid me since i worked there i didnt buy it even though i could have gotten it for 300.00 , yep stupid!.....a 16 year old kid got it and wraped it around a tree by that morning................anytime mark
  13. Nick......i sold a lot of real ones in the 80s like that, we had one come in that was a freak....4cyl 5 speed turbo 4x4.....it would really run, had a lot of fun doing burn-outs with it.....your photos show its about the same shape as my older one......i got it at a garage sale years ago for i think only 2.00 but its missing rear bumper, gate, taillights under bed hub caps....otherwise complete 2wd wide box stock version truck....dont know the name of the kit or remember the body style year....ugly but odd enough to be a neat build....mark
  14. the tan is almost a perfect match to the color many of them were when i worked for a chrysler/datsun dealer in the 80s......i have the older body style kit,2 wd wide box but has no gate or underbed taillights...i thought of powder blue for it when ever i get around to it?
  15. Ok its going to be a weekend 4 wheeler toy..........how about light tan.....a lot of them were light tan or an ice blue color from the factory?
  16. I wonder if there making decals for revell..........the problems sound sort of the same as i have had...
  17. well that depends on what type of build you going to build it as..............stock-custom-off road-drag?
  18. WOW!!!!!!!!! them are some nice builds! very nice job on them......mark
  19. No problem............im a disabled builder and im familiar with needing help at times.....the builder that told me that builds models that are hard to tell from photos that if there real or not, the man is real good. ive been building for around 35 years and i learn something new everyday........you will enjoy the site, these guys have great skills and experience to share with you as they have for me. when you get to know them a little better they will seem like life long friends.....mark
  20. Hi guys/gals..........nice catches! the other day i got a broken up mpc red 70 gto promo that ive had for years..............it was mint after some very light polishing but i dropped it somehow. major bummer.
  21. reaper crew...........welcome to the site! these guys/gals are the best! there always willing to help if they can........my best advice i can give you on building was given to me by a friend years ago....treat every part as if it were a model itself and your builds will come-out nice.....i have followed this advice and its helped my builds get better and better over the years.....mark
  22. Hey Terry.........thats way cool!!!!!! ive always been a big fan of the oddball stuff, its a really neat old car and being a 4 door or a wagon to me just makes building even more fun.
  23. Hey Porky.....yours is still awesome!!!! they cant take that away from you.......and a lot of us would prefer the older style kit anyway.....i know i do.
  24. Hi Tim...........VERY NICE!!!! i love the old school frieghtliner........love the old workhorse trucks of the 50s 60s and 70s. one of these days i have to learn to do stripes better.....
