Welcome Jen..! Great story and idea you have there. I am impressed for your first build..very nice work. I have a similar dad related thing that drives me...I am trying to restore my dads old collection.
Congrats Scott...that is awesome news. Yes it will help you build better I am sure of it. My eyes/hands are not what they use to be ether but some things just cant be fixed too. cant wait to see what your new look on builds become for you.
Brandon.... yes it is supposed to represent the 71,72 body years....your very lucky I have been after one myself for years now to build a family owned car replica with. Front fenders have fit issues so test fit things but its a decent kit...I had one as a kid once.
Is there any source for the old 70s series width tires MPC made that had a normal white wall on them..? I need a ton of them for restorations...others do not look right on the wide bodied cars.
Thanks Marty...Nick..Ken and Mike...its very much appreciated. You guys here are the best...real brothers in plastic. Well they found 6 pulups and removed them for colon cancer testing so now its a waiting game for the test results. I woke up a bit early on them while they were removing the last one...man that hurt. Today I feel like a truck ran me over but hanging in there. Thanks again my friends for your support and prayers.
Well my doctor had me take the Colo-Guard test and she got the test results back...positive. Tomorrow I am having the Colostomy test done to see what is wrong...? Cross your fingers for me gents...id appreciate it greatly.
Now that is COOL..! First off I am a wagon nut. Second due to my late uncle loving AMCs I have a soft spot for them myself. I have a few id like to restore once I find the parts to for them... 67 Ambassador HT and convertible 74 AMX early 70s Gremlin Id like to find some like my uncle owned someday to have replicas of them...restore these as his were.
Nice..! I have been on a Pontiac kick for years. I have a 68,69,70 Bonneville I have been wanting to restore from my dads old collection once I ever find what they need.
