  2. Very cool...I love the early 70s Dodge trucks...nice work gents.
  3. Very nice work Tim....what part of IL. you from..?
  4. very nice...its great to see these old survivors still out there somewhere hiding.
  5. Welcome Rodney..! Man...30 years ago there was some cool stuff out back then. I am a huge fan of the 60s/70s body style stuff....there is a lot of new kits of that era out now...more the better...LOL..
  6. Kerry...LOL..! I think the toy looks pretty good to me considering what you had to work with....Id like to see more machinery or equipment models in 1/25th or 1 2/4rth scales out there to build.
  7. As far as for any kits with them I always liked the Revell Mickey Thompson slant 4 cyl engine myself. For 1 to 1 real ones the Toyota 22R is a great little engine for what it is was very reliable.
  8. Welcome to the model life Kevin....nice trucks for your first try. Yep I was the same way after my first...been building ever since.
  9. LOL... yep..but it would be fun. I miss having horsepower in vehicles...old school power is great.
  10. Nice...! That would work...problem is id drive it on the street and get into much trouble...LOL..
  11. Welcome Nola..! I have been in the natural disaster situation (tornado) before too and lost some or had damage done to my collection...its rough. Looking forward to seeing your work.
  12. Welcome Jessie..! Me...I cant help with air brushing...I have always used spray cans. Were glad to have you with us all.
  13. Same from me...I hope you all are given wealth and health and happiness this year.
  14. Now that is cool....loads of possibilities there.
  15. Very cool build....kind of looks like something they would use in a Mad Max movie.
  16. A local guy has a mid/late 70s Dodge crew cab short bed 3/4 ton 2wd truck he is restoring....there rare trucks one just does not see them that often. Most were ether built for Forestry service...Rail road use...etc. The one we had when I was a kid was a 75..? Crew 2wd long bed 3/4 ton one with a camper top on it. I love odd stuff.
  17. Really nice save Snake....I like the Mavericks...have a old promo that needs parts and attention myself...they represent the 1 to 1s well.
  18. Dan buddy...yes there rare kits/models and fetch a high price tag. There awesome kits...the little U-haul trailer is a sweet bonus too. I have a 68 and 69 from my dads old stuff I have to restore. Very nice thought of you by the way...not many would think of going that far these day for a friend.
  19. Cool stuff Bill... I am a 60s/60s wagon nut of sorts. Shame about the bumper....wish I could have ordered everything I need before they went out but the funds were never there to. Me I find myself wondering if I like promos and promo like stuff better than kits at times...??? I wish mine were just as simple as needing to make a corner on a bumper if I could. Between a tornado and then a breakin here once the ones I do have need a lot of parts and work.
  20. Same from me.... I hope you all have a great time and a better year to come.
  21. Very nice..! Where did you find the small bumpers, etc. for it...? My late uncle owned one with those and id like to build a replica of it.
  22. Looks good enough for me Ray....we use to own a 69 or 70 back when I was a kid it was orange with a white top...that thing would go anywhere.
  23. 68 Chrysler and 66 Rambler wagon....COOL..!...those would be nice.
