  1. I'm not really sure either.....LOL. I've done some commisioned work in the past, and I sell some stuff on Ebay here and there, but I'm not some big, hot shot, rich and famous model car builder or something like that. Maybe he was referring to Ebay or something of the like...... I dunno
  2. No problemo....I just thought that with 5000 posts it was a little strange that I never saw any work from him.....I wasn't trying to throw salt in his eyes, but was just curious as to why I never saw any plastic from him.
  3. Thanks for the reply, Daddy-o......I was just curious.
  4. Nobody said he had to post models in order to hang out here....where the heck did you get that idea from? I just asked if he actually builds since I've never seen one from him.....Stop playing with matches in the woods during droughts!!
  5. That doesn't really answer the question though............... The guy has over 5000 posts but none seem to be about any of his own personal work....You don't neccessarily need pictures to have topics and/or posts about what you are working on. just sayin...
  6. George, I have question for you... Do you actually build models? I mean you've got like 5000 posts and I don't ever recall seeing a topic of yours in regards to an actual model that You've built....I'm not tying to start an issue here, but I find it interesting that you never seem to build anything......Perhaps I'm missing something? or overlooked one? I dunno, I'm curious, and just thought I'd ask the question since you spend so much time here.
  7. Here, this'll make the thread worth clicking on........ SEE........ instant thread saver!!..........Enjoy
  8. Sometimes it seems like this evil one fella doesn't know whether he's comming or going..... It's like he's stuck in one of those annoying revolving doors in the lobby of a fancy office building....
  9. Actually Chris, it would be awesome watching "evilone" against Fedor Emelianenko in the cage...LMAO!
  10. Don't you threaten to quit like every 3 months or so? and then return with a big, "I'm back" announcment?..........If you want to quit, then quit. Why do you keep making these big ordeals and threads about it, and just seem to keep going around in circles? In case you haven't noticed, alot of the flak that you seem to get here has been brought on by yourself, especially with all the rude remarks and the bad trading deals...You can't treat folks like dogs and then expect to just sweep it all under the rug.....Some people are obviously still ticked off at ya. You have a tarnished reputation here, and it's sticking to you like super glue.....lol.
  11. I'm not sure.....although he may not have done enough to get completely banned yet. He's thrown a few insults around, but it's not like he's done anything all that substantial like posting porn or something to that effect.
  12. Yeah, theres several ways to do it. The wardrobe box sounds cool. The main thing is the fan itself. Too low cfm's and you'll still have paint dust and fumes floating around, and too High a cfm, and you'll be moving too much air and it could interfere with paint spray applications......I've had both happen to me. You'll have to experiment around with what works with the box size and room you'll be using.
  13. Where the heck is "lugnuts"?.........He seems to be slacking somewhat.......
  14. I've been using the cardboard paint box routine for a while now. It actually works real well....There are a few times when you can still smell some light fumes, but for the most part, the cardboard booth works wonders for indoor paint sessions. I have the vent tube routed outside through a 4" hole I cut in a plexiglass window and I have an aluminum adapter screwed to the plexiglass that the hose fits snuggly around and is secured with aluminum duct tape. Theres no open window, and the hose stays mounted all year round.
  15. Forum drama is cool between modeling sessions, but I never really let it cut into too much of my bench time. I always try to build first, then insult people later....LOL.
  16. Paint booth man, paint booth.... Get a bathroom vent fan with a good cfm rating, some 3 or 4 " aluminum dryer vent tubing, a nice big, sturdy, cardboard box, and mount the fan and stick the tubing out the window and your ready to go!! Works for me.....and I paint in all types of weather!!............Stop with the excuses man, and get to painting some stuff!!
  17. With a join date of 2009, and over 1800 posts when do you get the time to do it? You must live on this forum.....LOL.
  18. Here's a really, really, off the wall question....... Do any of you guys build model cars?
  19. I remember reading something about that a while back..... Hey, maybe this song could also apply to Tiger Woods right now?......."dirty little secrets, dirty little lies"....
  20. yes, it's "dirty laundry" by Don Henley.....[like Harry said]... For some odd reason, that song got into my head when I was reading through the "Crybaby thread"...... I make my living off the evening news Just give me something, something I can use People love it when you lose, they love dirty laundry Well, I could've been an actor, but I wound up here I just have to look good, I don't have to be clear Come and whisper in my ear, give us dirty laundry Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em all around We got the bubbleheaded bleach-blonde, comes on at 5 She can tell you about the plane crash with a gleam in her eye It's interesting when people die, give us dirty laundry Can we film the operation? Is the head dead yet? You know the boys in the newsroom got a running bet Get the widow on the set, we need dirty laundry You don't really need to find out what's going on You don't really want to know just how far it's gone Just leave well enough alone, keep your dirty laundry Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down Kick 'em when they're stiff, kick 'em all around Dirty little secrets, dirty little lies We got our dirty little fingers in everybody's pie Love to cut you down to size, we love dirty laundry We can do the innuendo, we can dance and sing When it's said and done, we haven't told you a thing We all know that ###### is king, give us dirty laundry
  21. You confiscated the popcorn, but you didn't get my beer.....LOL. in all seriousness, yeah it's a bit sad that threads like that get so much attention but yet when a guy posts up an outstanding model, they are lucky to have 2 or 3 users at a time viewing the thread.
  22. Yeah, that thread didn't seem to go on for too much longer after I stepped away from the computer for a few minutes....On the other hand however, I think we had like over 20 some users all on it at once....go figure, Drama sells big time..."Kick em when the're up, kick when the're down, kick em all around.....give us dirty laundry".....LOL.
  23. I knew that thread was going to get locked. I'm surprised it had a life span as long as it did....LOL. That was some crazy stuff...
  24. Beautiful work Raul,I like em all. Remember,it's the quality that counts not the quantity.....Looks like you had a great year of building to me.
