Thank you kindly, Peter.....If I'm lucky, I just might be able to "graduate" that 48 Lincoln tonight. I will be heading over to the workbench a bit later to try and get all the fnishing touches done before midnight....If I don't screw things up, I think she might squeek by with a passing grade...

nice job, man........That looks great!! I did one a while back in metallic blue. It's not a bad kit, but it did need some parts swapping and scratchbuilding to get it looking decent.

On a side note, I have to wonder how long firefox will remain free?........If it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, I wonder at what point when the folks behind the software, no longer feel charitable and start trying to fatten up their wallets a bit by charging it's happy-go-lucky users for the latest downloads and/or updates?... [You know, kinda like that cool, free, virus protection program that covers all updates for a year or so, but after that, it's time to open up your wallet, or else your no longer up to date.....LOL]. I dunno, nothing in this world seems to stay free for long.......Who knows.

Well, I'm still on dialup, but fortunately, my system is only about 3 years old, so I may be able to utilize this Mozilla/browser update stuff without trouble, but yeah, I feel real bad for the guys that are still using primitive dinosaurs as computers along with dialup connections. For those guys, trying to update the systems, may indeed become a serious hassle.... It's kinda interesting to note however, that out of the 10 or so various forums I partcipate on, this is now the only forum that no longer works properly with my current browser......Go figure....

Well, I suppose thats what I'll have to do when I get some time later, but for now, I'll just hit the enter button and start typing BELOW the darn option bar so I can see what heck I'm typing...

So I guess this means that everyone has to switch and try to update their web browsers in order to properly post here,now? I dunno man, that sort of seems like an uneccessary requirement for folks to have to do, just so they can post....Why don't the powers that be just re-format that stupid option bar so it isn't so gosh darn intrusive?

I'm currently using photobucket to host all of my images, and I think you can have 10 pics per post here, [at least thats the way it was the last time I posted pics here, a couple weeks ago]. I'm just about done with my 48 lincoln, so I'll see if the pic count limit has changed in next couple of days when I post the completed car. I really hope the forum doesn't reduce the pic limit to three per post......then we'll be just like that "other forum"......oh yay!!

Yeah, I'm more concerened about a 3 pic per post limit, rather than whatever happens to silly sig pictures. Quite frankly, I don't really come to this place to entertain myself by looking at people's sig pics, but I do tend to post lots of modeling images in my threads and having a limit on them will be a much bigger annoyance, than some kid's obnoxious sig picture. I don't really care if sig pics have been terminated, I've never really used one, and some of those folks who have, have seriously over-indulged themselves.

That's looking very cool.....I like all the extra touches your adding in, as well as the "in the weeds stance". It appears that the project is "cooking along" very nicely....

So Kev, which uniform will you be wearing in your E-thug match?........... Can I interest you in one of these? Or, if your really feeling tough, how about one of these?

The thread starters that create these sort of topics have no power to enforce any of the rules, so it's sort of silly to go around policing people when you don't have a freakin gun and badge...It's like some of these guys get bored or something and feel the need to toss a few stones at the hornet's nest to watch an angry swarm buzz around for a while. But yeah, you would think that the "sig offenders" could be handled by private messages instead of creating weekly b*tch sessions that go nowhere, fast.

Does anybody know any tips or tricks to dissolve 5 min epoxy off of brushes?....or is the brush wrecked? One of my favorite brushes ended up taking a swim in some epoxy I had mixed up on the table, and I didn't realize it till after the stuff had hardened on the bristles.....

Beautiful collection there Ron. I wish you all the best in the comming year. Outside of my modeling time, 2009 hasn't really been a very good year for me either. I've been facing some of my own personal issues as well as a few health problems. I hope next year goes a bit smoother...........Jeff

I got some paint on the 48 lincoln last night, and if all goes well with the remaining assemblies, I just might be able to add it to the list before the year is out. Tonight I'll be cutting up the grill and reworking it with BMF, and body color paint.

And have you noticed that everytime there is a resin complaint these days, it always seems to revolve around you and the same old nonsense? Why don't we hear this sort of dog pucky about Reps and Mins?, or modelmartin?, or modelhause? Why is it always comming from YOUR CUSTOMERS?
