My '82 Dodge Street Van is complete! Painted with Tamiya TS-20 Metallic Green with a Tamiya AS-15 Tan interior, side pipes from the '68 Pontiac GTO, factory wheels from the '78 Dodge Little Red Express and decals from the '70 Plymouth Roadrunner.

While I had the paintbooth up and running, I painted the Ford GT. Looks good, but there are many body parts to this model! I hope got them all!

I added the hood to the rest of the car and it is tight! I may leave as it is instead of trying to loosen it up.

Thanks for the message, but I have some made from clear packing material. Thanks anyway! -
Thanks Carl! I'm sure it is worth some money for it.

Like I said, it was a gift and a surprise gift it was. I had no idea that it was coming and boy, did he deliver! I just need to get back to it and finish it.

Nothing right now. Just a stand alone build. To be assembled and painted and displayed.

Michael, I sent you a PM. -
Thanks Carl and Anton!

This was a gift from Jeff Elliott of the Classic Plastic Model Club. It is a 392 Hemi that was printed. In all, it took me about 10 minutes to get the engine block and the oil pan separated and assembled with superglue. It took a bit of cutting and sanding to get these parts together. This is gonna take a while.

I found this article in Scale Auto to be very informative. It is on the assembly of the Tamiya Ford GT which I have. It is in the April 2019 issue of Scale Auto No. 250.

Thanks Lei and Carl! -
With the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans today, I decided to start my Ford GT model build. My paint will be Tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue. I am undecided if I want to use the center stripes as I do like the car with and without them. If I do use them, I'll go with the white stripes.

Thanks Anton! I kept looking at this Impala SS on the shelf and I knew it needed to be rehabbed. Unfortunately, the paint job did not go as I hoped for, so I may have to do it again.

Leica007, PM sent! Thanks Michael! -
Since the paint booth was up and running today, I painted the '94 Impala SS. But, I'm not happy with the paint job that I gave. I may start over again.

I went and painted the Street Van with Tamiya TS-20 Metallic Green paint. It came out very well! Now to let it dry and cure until this weekend and then I'll add a clearcoat. -

That is what I am planning. I have just realized that I do not have any rear windows for this van. I will have to make some. Probably out of acrylic sheet. -

Just another dusty refugee from my model shelf. A 1994 Impala SS that is in need of a bath and will get a repaint. The color is Dupli-Color Light Blue Metallic. Since most of my Impala models are Light Blue Metallic, this one should be Light Blue Metallic instead of gloss Black. This model is headed for the sink very shortly and will enjoy the entire spa treatment. The interior I might not touch since the decals (or stickers) I do not have duplicates of. The brown interior looks great painted and I might not paint it.

The interior is almost finished. I added a tri-pack of extra gauges to hint of a performance van. I have assembled a table to go between the bench seats in the rear of the van. The table needs to be painted.
