I assembled the wheels and tires and these white parts are headed to the sink for a bath.
  2. Been working on the Jag Coupe lately. The hood is complete and now for the decals.

Hey Carl, it's Mike! Not John!

With the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans today, I decided to start my Ford GT model build. My paint will be Tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue. I am undecided if I want to use the center stripes as I do like the car with and without them. If I do use them, I'll go with the white stripes.
  5. Thanks Anton! I kept looking at this Impala SS on the shelf and I knew it needed to be rehabbed. Unfortunately, the paint job did not go as I hoped for, so I may have to do it again.
  6. Lei007, PM sent! Thanks Michael!
  7. Since the paint booth was up and running today, I painted the '94 Impala SS. But, I'm not happy with the paint job that I gave. I may start over again.
  8. I went and painted the Street Van with Tamiya TS-20 Metallic Green paint. It came out very well! Now to let it dry and cure until this weekend and then I'll add a clearcoat.
  9. That is what I am planning. I have just realized that I do not have any rear windows for this van. I will have to make some. Probably out of acrylic sheet.

  11. Just another dusty refugee from my model shelf. A 1994 Impala SS that is in need of a bath and will get a repaint. The color is Dupli-Color Light Blue Metallic. Since most of my Impala models are Light Blue Metallic, this one should be Light Blue Metallic instead of gloss Black. This model is headed for the sink very shortly and will enjoy the entire spa treatment. The interior I might not touch since the decals (or stickers) I do not have duplicates of. The brown interior looks great painted and I might not paint it.
  12. The interior is almost finished. I added a tri-pack of extra gauges to hint of a performance van. I have assembled a table to go between the bench seats in the rear of the van. The table needs to be painted.
  13. Thanks David!
  14. Lots of luck, Michael!
  15. I've been paintin" yesterday! I've painted the interior and pieces and primered the body. I didn't do the roof or the front end as there were too many holes to deal with.
  16. I got the hood painted and it looks good. The fogging will buff out.
  17. Just so you know, this kit has long since been out of production. Maybe you can find one in a out-of-production website or something.
  18. I Installed the hood and trunk logos, painted the rear trunk panel and I completed the interior.
  19. This was a can of lacquer from a few years ago. I now buy strictly Tamiya paints since they are easier to use and the nozzles don't stick. I have been sanding the Dodge Street Van this afternoon and my fingers hurt. Still a long way to go. The driver's side looks decent, but the passenger side has a long way to go.
  20. I have a similar paint color in a Tamiya spray can that I plan on using. Did you have to strip your paint as well?
  21. The radiator hoses are on. If this is the wrong positions, too bad! Now I can concentrate on the body.
  22. I scratch-built a cross member for my Street Van. Next are radiator hoses.
  23. There is something missing from this kit! No cross member to hold the exhaust system up. Plus there are no radiator hoses for cooling. Lucky I have some extras in my parts box!
