Hey Chris I would like to "suggest" some "inexpensive" tools for you and prehaps a few building suggestions as well. In your first picture you haven't yet removed the "REMOVE" tabs frome the side windows, this could damage your paint job. A set of side nippers will cleanly take care of this, Hobby Lobby should have these for around five or six bucks. In the pictures of the engine and interior I saw evidence of "nubs" from the sprue, these can be remedied with a set of finger nail clippers and fine tuned with an emery board, both of which can be found at the Dollar Store. The clippers will save your steering wheel as well. I see by the picture that you primed the body, this is very good. (I found out the hard way ) But it looks like, (here is where it took me being told by my friend Bill), marbling from the plastic showing thorough the paint. This is what Bill told me to do, use metallic silver on marbled plastic, as in the body has swirls in the plastic, Hope you got my meaning? With your chassis work, can only suggest three things to try, a very good "sable" liner brush and a steady hand, for the frame rails. Taping off the rails, "very" time consuming and lots of tape, Lastly, I have read that Silly Putty can be used to mask off the chassis and with a hobby knife angle the putty down to where the base of the rail and the chassis meet. Just some friendly suggestions for you to consider! Glad to have you in the Hobby!! We are all here to learn and have fun!! Looking forward to seeing more from You!! Thank You for sharing Later Russ

I really appreciate your scratch building skills!! Most impressive Scott! I like your subject choice, the Road Runner. I had to do the same thing to the power bulge for a Charger "500" conversion I am doing, it got "very" thin in some spots too! I am going to convert the Monogram GTX into an RR. You can't beat the "King" either! Very nice Man Thank You for sharing Later Russ

Chemiwood?!?! I was wondering what you were using to shape out a lot of those parts. What is it? Looking good, as always! Thank You for sharing Later Russ -
I too am very interested in your build Erik! I must say that at first I wasn't to sure as to what was going on, but, as I got further along with your build, WOW! To see all of those parts and pieces go together was sheer astonishment! Thank You for sharing later Russ
