  1. Fantastic job Joe !!
  2. Nine times out of ten, the color is picked as well as the way the cars is going to be built before I get the kit . Only a small percentage of my stash, maybe 10 out of the 270 odd hasn't been decided on (usually picked up cause it was a good buy read cheap). As for the color selection, its amazing how much a couple coats of similar (or radically different) nail polish can do to the same basecoat color. The key is experimentation (of which, you are the master Virgil) , a pack of a hundred plastic spoons is cheap, doesn't use much paint to cover, I'll try and take a pic of mine this afternoon.
  3. Well if you're going to compile a wish list of sorts, Ild like to see 30's 34 chev coupe or(prefer sedan) 36 Dodge coupe 50's 51- 53 Buick 52 - 56 Caddys prefer 53 and 55's 55- 58 Buicks 57 Oldsmobile 58 chevy fleetside (the only pickup I really like ) 60's 68/69 Notchback I know KDOG does one but it aint exactly cheap especially as I want to do 3 or 4 70's 73/74 Cuda Wagons any from the 60 chev to the mid 70/s from any of the big 3 Modern updated funny car kits any body style

  11. Coming along nicely Niko, keep up the good work
  12. Chris, no offence intended but I think you're mental but in a good way . Phenomenal work man. This is going to look insanely good once done. I dont know if many people will even notice half of what you've done at the first look, its the second that will draw them in like bees to honey when they notice all the small detail.
  13. While not quite right for either the BB/ big block chev Flopper or the later model (77 I think) AA/ vega, I'm using what I have. Scored some old (unknown) Veney's vega decals and am using an old Revell Schumaker (sp) 73/4 vega kit. Colour is a custom Du Pont red Dont plan on any additional detailing at this stage
  14. Very cool Dave, love the paint! Your detailing looks great from this side of the screen

  19. Looks the goods already Tyrone ,I'm sure I learn something new on each of your builds
  20. A beautiful rendition again Paul. Superb work as usual
  21. Very very cool Rob, Totally believable setup there.
  22. looking cool already T, nice work on the wheelie bars
  23. My biggest nemesis is decals, once a kit gets to a couple of years old, they just wont work for me. Tried re-clearing them .miroscale decal film etc, no go . Other than that, well everything could stand up for some improvement. And Doc,I know exactly what you're saying about mathematics the four basics no problem enter an angle,I'm lost so eyeball engineering it is.
  24. yep add road runner to that and you'd have a perfect lineup. Other than that I loved the original Sonic the Hedgehog form the mid nineties. The only other one I watched recently or regularly is Tripping the Rift. I cant stand modern (whats supposed to pass for ) cartoons
