  23. Believe it or not this truck took about 3 years to build...I always wanted to build a 67 chevy truck s/b but this kit is very hard to find so I went to ebay and found some on there but a good clean kit was going for $100 to high for me so that was in Oct.06.June 07 I got my break got one off ebay for $41 bucks but was painted several times as soon as I got it I soaked it in purple stuff as always you buy off ebay it comes worst shape then you thought.I used several kits amt 1960 chevy truck chassis, amt 84 gmc fender firewalls,55 chevy truck motor.and a old promo 61 chevy truck wood bed.Reason I say its cursed cuz its been painted about 20 times by me cuz the paint would never come out good always rough or bubbles it would always show where i cut the bed down this truck had some glue marks that took for ever to fill . Couple times I threw it back in the box and took a break from it at times I would look to find another kit to start fresh but big $$$ to do that.So over time of 2008 I slowly worked on it still had the same problems in march 09 I wanted to take it to STL,MO. model car contest in Oct.09.So i stripped it all down started fresh I used different putty and I went cheap with paint...at wal-mart (Krylon) spray paint.I got this truck looking good the chassis was completed motor wired, plumb and I BMF it and I cleared it...I dont know what went wrong but the clear paint destroyed it So I stripped it again and didnt use the clear on it but waxed it.....it took 2nd place
