Enjoyed the show pics very much . . talent and skill NNL style.
Thanks Y'all for sharing .
@ Ira... thanks for showing the candy coated Cali Lowriders..much appreciated.
Glad I could help out with the " promo style " chassis pan.
I've got a '63 Ford Galaxie on my bench at the moment,
and swapped out the chassis with one from a '64 Merc Marader.
The '64 chassis got the "A" arms extended and new tail pipe exhaust
tubes made from a spare rollbar . The rollbar had the nice curves I was
looking for.
"63 on top . . . "64 on the bottom
You are a builder Tulio. I believe the (new) '48 Ford will be just fine.
The two Union / IMC / Testors '48 Fords in my build pile,
got built into customs, and one of them was a gluebomb !
I say . . . Go for it !
Hey Monty..
I'm working on a AMT '63 Galaxie and I found one being worked on over at Koolest Kruizers forum.
If you don't know french (I don't) don't worry.
The technique is to drill out the head light and finish with a round file aka rat tail.
Here's the link..http://www.koolestkruzers.com/t1127-1963-ford-galaxie-500?highlight=galaxie
Hope it helps.
