  1. Thanks for the tip John. Simplicity at its best. Looking at works in progress and learning new techniques (to me anyway) is my cup of Joe (Folgers).
  2. This '59 is the bees knees ! Thanks for posting/sharing your Fotki link Tim.
  3. Cool tip . . . thanks for sharing/posting.
  4. I'm a subscriber... Going to B&N makes me spend more money on car mags . (for some unknown reason)...LOL The Tidewater Automotive Modelers contest held Norfolk Virginia made my day when I saw the coverage.
  5. The front 3/4 shots on the base, give the optical illusion of elongated tires.. very weird/cool effect. Thanks for sharing/posting your "under construction" work too.
  6. Awesome work on the Buick James. For the tire/rim combo, Pegasus saves the day. I swapped the wide whites from the 4bar with the Supremes thin line to make this combo.
  7. Clean lil' coupe Dennis. Thanks for posting/sharing.
  8. This is a how-to by Legardez Renaud aka Zed http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=24185
  9. Amen To the Servicemen...thank you
  10. Looked like a panda to me. Added some green deer hair from my fly tying bench.
  11. Whodathought ! Combine a '51 Chevy with a '50 Ford grill surround... sprinkle some '53 DeSoto teeth.... instant custom grill. Subscribed... Sure wish Mr. Dudek still marketed the teardrop tail lites.
  12. Kool project Niko.. I've included a link from the H.A.M.B. on 49-52 Chevies. Keep us posted. link....http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=483132
  13. Thought the same thing. That's how much time I spend just sanding...LOL
  14. Much better looking engine.. not to mention the MCM forum infamous alt. bracket.
  15. Got my sets Friday...what time savers ! Just had to try them out on a project '36 and a original issue just for giggles.
  16. I thought this CBP was dead. Like the subject/topic .. so I joined. Not much traffic so I put the GMC and trailer away. Great work on the trim around the cab btw. Cab corner work is similar to what I did to fix my '84.
  17. Yeah....It's got a HEMI .
  18. Nice restoration work . As others have noted...great color combo. Wished you had some before pixs...maybe next time. I picked up the gold build up in a trade..soaking it revealed gold , green and some white paint. The best part was the baby blue styrene under all that. This is the "as is" pix next to my burnt orange '59 .
  19. Opened to all,no membership required...lots of military models with IMPS sponsored shows. Lots of automotive vendors too.
