Porsche Topic!!! anything porsche!
Railfreak78 replied to B_rad88's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks for the info I have never done one of these so I'll have to do some research and maybe make it somewhat look like it's suppose to -
That little guy came out great! Makes me want to borrow it to go have fun in the desert out here! Nice work.

Gary I've used a real thinned out batch of thinner and flat black in the past however, I've read about ink washes. I have some now and have used ink washes for vent details and other stuff perfectly so I'm going to try it. It water washes away what you don't like

David If your not going to do anything with that white 2 door plymouth with police on the trunk let me know I need the glass and also let me know if you want to work out a deal on the blue Nova with 37 on the trunk. Thanks and nice haul!

sweet s10 WRECKED!!!
Railfreak78 replied to Jared Roach's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I'll tell Toby to put a pic of his 99 on here. The passenger side was really shoved in and the top of the door was flaired out but now he got that bent back. All just cause a guy in a 92ish F150 back out of a driveway into him. Messed up the door and cab pretty bad for a light impact. -
I opened it up and the tank itself looks pretty simple and basic. I have not looked through the bags yet but there is not many trees. The case is huge. I'll take some more pictures of it when I get home from work sunday. ......... Blake, The cordless has it's own battery pack and charger. I've really put it to some tests with the saw blade. It will bog down a bit if you force it but the run time is pretty good. Like I said that one is at Walmart and for cordless you can't beat it. Even though Toby has one and I have one now, I want one more just to have a spare battery but really now that we have our own it lasts longer cause I use mine for major body work

Purple Pond Container
Railfreak78 replied to midwest 1953's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Also one other thing I will get a picture of later is for small chrome parts I use a small container with a strainer made from something cheap out of wal marts kitchen section. This container holds Westley's bleach white for cars. It strips the chrome right off. -
Happy Birthday Brian!

Thanks a lot! -
Marty then you would have scooped up cars I wanted Thanks Brandon and Blake. Hey Blake I love that little cordless Dremel I have used it (Toby has one) for opening wheel wells, I opened my Eclipse with it, drilled out distributers, firewalls, and used it sanding. Cordless is handy. I recommend it as well as going to Ace hardware. They have a huge Ace brand pack for $21 that has all but the actual small saw blades for opening cars up and Ace has those too. The organizer for my brushes is another Wal-Mart special. Its an ice cube mold for a couple bucks that holds my brushes, knifes, glue, bondo, detail wire, sharpie, tree snips. It's awesome and better than when I used foam.

As an Avid Hot Wheels collector I have mixed feeling on this subject. I want to try it but I'm afraid I'll ruin something good Not to mention something that is nothing is something to someone. Those are a very cool l like them so far!

So here is an update. I still need to do some touch up and clean up. I did a greasy grimey wash on purpose. Hopefully when it's done it will tie in with the exterior a bit and make sense

Knowing you my friend WHO knows?! I'd guess...... Shorty custom van?

My project bike is a 80 Yamaha Maxim XJ650 and it's about the same size. These older bikes are awesome for learning (Hopefully I'll know soon) Anyway keep up maintenance on your chain and be careful of your coil packs. If you snap a wire going to the spark plugs they are hard to fins used and pricey new.

Hmm, destroy the Taurus for a movie car. Could it be "Road Trip" when the car blew up??
