  1. They are both mixed together. Its soft on the car plastic and takes the paint off well. The longest I waited was a car with 4 different colors layered over each other. It let go of the paint after soaking for about 3 or 4 days without killing the body. I have also let one coat cars be in there for only 2 hours and grabbed a tooth brush and under the sink "whalla"
  2. From someone that was ready to pull my hair out.. Yes please read the Photobucket tutorial I think Clay posted it. Saved me a lot of heartache and editing posts to delete pics. As far as the car, I am a die hard Hendrick and Penske fan so I like it
  3. This is the tank my buddy and I use. It works great so far (about 4 months) We have actually moved to a new house with this. It slowly evaporates and we just add more. It's cheap and very effective. Here is the tank and has the brand and the stuff we use in. It currently has a whole bottle of each.
  4. Great pictures for reference and I would have nabbed it too
  5. I've seen this one with my own eyes and can say that this car is Beautiful. The work he put into the chop and the paint is all class. I give him some razz being my buddy and all but this kind of build makes me look up to him as a builder. Now Marty take that to Good Guys!
  6. Thats coming along very nicely my friend! Your making me want to get one of these
  7. I have always loved this car. I'm actually a fan of the Skylark which this is based on. Nice job on a good ol' Buick. There was a kit of this re- released in early 2000's? I built one for an ex- girlfriend of her 1:1 Skylark of this body style. Mine was a 76. I have not seen one on here in a while and nice job.
  8. Here is what her mom is working on between her WW2 planes and an old ship with a bunch of masts. I can't remember the name of it.

  12. That truck came out beautiful Jason! Fantastic save!
  13. I cant quit watching, this thing is going to be great buddy.
  14. Here is an update. I did a little bit more of the chassis. Front and rear suspension. I had to cut out part of the heat shield panels where the transmission goes through. It wouldn't fit. I also did a wash on my wheels to rid any chrome and make the face stand out. More to come soon...
  15. Hi there this Corvair was a joint effort with my help. The look and most of the work was done by an 11 year old girl that is my friends daughter. She is going to through a lot but long story short, It has a lot of flaws but I can't bring myself to fix it. I hope you like it and I hope it makes her day someday when she might be able to see her work here.
  16. <~~~~ Guilty about Flo too As far as the thread goes I'll have something for you soon
  17. I don't know about everyone else here but while I am typing this it tells me what is spelled wrong. So sometimes I might actually type something different on purpose like George does I thought this was a Model site not Grammar 101. I can't build models in school classes Lets try ickty acity ook ..... Yes all those lit up red under them to say it's spelled wrong.
  18. With those pictures for inspiration on the 1st page does anyone know what kit the body on that last blue Toyota came from? Looks like a Corolla?
  19. Simply amazing! I love all the detail and the way fluids have run to the drain and just wow!
  20. I think the only thing I have to complain about it is...... It's not mine! I love it. Great job on this. Something to see everywhere.
  21. Nice looking old schooler! Seeing builds like these make me want to build one of the old convertibles.
  22. Fantastic job! I need to start with mine with the fuel details. Is it a kit? The part where the can goes in and the overflow? One more thing, Powerslide decals? Is there a site for it? Anyway... That is one great looking build and nice to see some Brad stuff on here.
  23. Sweet! You can't beat a vehicle that will make a HOA president faint!
  24. Kool Koncept I like how you kept the door jams clean and not flooded with that many coats. Looks fun!
