  1. I agree Ed, I smell a diorama soon! Great job on a cool subject
  2. Chris wow friend. Another wicked start! Someday I may start a chop and now I know who to ask if I have issues Oh hey with your avitar I thought you may like what I picked up today. Great work so far!!
  3. This is one I picked up recently. I have never built one of these newer kits due to the appeal is not there for me yet. No chrome, half the style, etc feeling of the new pony cars. So I did come up with an idea after looking at many in magazines and online. I fell back on an old Hot Wheel series for inspiration that did not have a stang. I have to fix some mold lines and go back and touch up the engine paint. So here is the start...
  4. I agree Wayne wow and I'm about to post an '06 that now i'm worried about lol Great detail and beautiful engine here. Those parts and the time to add them looks terrific! I can't see the way this looks when done.
  5. Red Hot!
  6. Hey Nick I'm not sure I have a heck of a lot that is complete or sealed right now for trade. I have lots of parts and bodies PM me if your looking for anything. I wouldn't mind doing another one. Jon, I think back then I was using that terrible blue tube ack the bad memories Maybe I should do like your saying and use a newer car gone retro hmm..
  7. That frame is crazy cool! Just an update from me I am working on this but find rollbars kinda frustrating with this roofline ugh. The work here is mind blowing guys
  8. Sorry for above post now that I think about it I needed more coffee. I wanted to say watching the evening news now they showed an angle from YouTube that shows the tire bouncing away from the car. I cant tell if the wheel is still in it or not.
  9. Here is the only one I have now don't be to harsh I was a lot younger when I made this one. It's a good view of the fitment issues with the front end. I always had to display with the hood open. It's a problem with a bar in the front for the flip front. More pics of this build in the workbench section. Also the wheel backings never fit. Way to loose but nothing learning along the way wont fix.
  10. This here is an old Viper kit I did when they came out. I was a little younger and I want to change it someday. In the General posts someone said they had fit issues and this did with the hood. I think I can fix it now that I am more experienced but I wanted to post pics without stealing the topic thread. I may just throw this in the purple pond what do you think? Please forgive the dust
  11. It has to be better than the blue shop towel I used once!
  12. This build is awesome. Turning this into a truck is really cool and you have several good wheels to pick from. Killer paint so far as well.
  13. I love this one! I gotta get me one
  14. Sweet orange and those headlights look like they are working!
  15. Congrates on 3rd Marty. I love this truck a lot. Like the one Toby and I cruised in when we were teens. I also like the way you did the exhaust on this.
  16. That was a nice surprise at the meeting Marty. I thought you were going to bring the Dukes one. Looks good
  17. Good lord whats that part do then? It is big enough for a purge lol.
  18. I am really surprised that the cars do not have teathers on the tires such as Nascar and Monster Jam is required now. They can still come off but most times the teathers will keep them with the car. Is it a matter of those tires are to big or heavy? I saw it on the local news to and what a shame. It is a risk as a fan you take though. I risk it at Firebird from time to time, Phoenix International 2 times a year and at the monster truck events. Sad for the families though.
  19. Maybe turn it into a beat up rock crawler? Sorry to hear of your misfortune however thanks for posting so others don't make the same mistake.
  20. Welcome to the forum and your right not a lot of Vipers here. I have a custom I did a long time ago that I am thinking of putting in the purple pond and re-doing. Check out Jon's pics and also Dupont Registry's web site has great pics of cars for sale including a race section. Those ads normally have several pics for reference. I wanted to do a Team Oracle Viper and had the same issue. I thought about mixing it with another race kit.
  21. Wow looks like GM actually made it. Nice work
  22. Hey Toby this came out nice after such a fight. The camera does kinda rat us out on some mistakes we do not catch with the eye. I would recommend touching up the firewall where the heater hoses go in. Great job on this.
  23. Now that would be fun to open up at Road America.
  24. I'm going to say Model this time around
  25. I seem to build just like George
