  1. Thanks for all the advice and yeah after tearing into it more its bad. It's the main cross member for sure. It never did ride well and I'll assure you this was no joy on the freeway. And to top it off the steering column needs to be replaced so yeah.. lol. I am pulling the motor and I am now mixed with re-build while out or get a Crate. Its a 351 Modified but also has a smog pump I can't take off. I hate that. Here is how it sits now. Next is exhaust and Trans getting unbolted.
  2. I miss that store! I used to live in Everett WA and loved the one there. I wish we had them here and wow the kits are not 17.99 like everywhere else??? Too cool
  3. The problem with Ebay is it changes day to day, week to week. Its is about what someone will pay. Perfect example I have a thing for a certain car that I want every aspect of it and would pay way more than others here. Another one... I have a near mint open Hot Wheel Custom Corvette that one day is worth $25 on there and the next it might go for over a grand like cars not worth what the vette is. I'm curious about models too so if there are more guides I'd like to know but I do believe in build them!
  4. Yea its just the front. Its cracked from the bottom and stops at the very top of the side facing the front bumper. Unfortunately, It has some front end damage as the fenders and hood do not line up but wow I didn't know it was this bad lol.
  5. Congrates Wheelman!! May 5th will be my 13th with my girl but we are going to actually get married now! Have fun buddy.
  6. Great tip! I thought about this way but never did it and now I am convinced! Do you dull coat/ clearcoat after or just leave it?
  7. Great idea! I have not tried boots yet but my buddy fought with his so when I try it will be easier thanks!
  8. I have to get a book for it. I'm not to sure what it is actually. This bar goes partially around the front axle in parts. mainly the driver side. From underneath I can see a pin on each side but looking down from the top of the engine I can only see the frame rails. I hope I can actually replace it instead of just welding it. Good thing it did it when I tested 4x4 on my side yard not actually out at the lake or the river I go to lol.
  9. I always loved that car and Terry Labonte rocks! This should be a good build
  10. I'm posting this here to see if people would like a new thread in the 1:1 reference section. I bought my Bronco for a grand with 33's, a 351M, auto, 4x4, etc. I found it has a big crack in the front end and a bent stabilizer bar. I've started tearing this apart and I'm going to yank out the motor and fix all. This is a wire mess too. I wonder if anyone would like detail pics of any aspect of the truck for Bronco or F150 builds? If so I'll start a thread. Thanks for looking.
  11. Very Beautiful Nomad. I like how clean it is with subtle touches.
  12. Nice rack it came out really nice. I did notice the Napa Hat and I'd swear those are the awesome $5 Little Ceasar special pizza boxes lol
  13. I have an odd ball 442 body that might donate well do you have measurements at all? This one is not the 72 style it's pretty flat. I can take a pic if you want.
  14. Refreshing to see a longbed on here! Cool truck I would like to see it after your trim is done and all. Great subject,
  15. Hey what kit is the pick up or is it resin? I owned a 65 Ford and the only thing I have found is a diecast. I'd be interested if you sell these.
  16. A friend of mine bought a challenger ( not this one ) and the engine is molded in. Does this kit actually have an engine to put together?
  17. Very cool! What in tarnation did you make the plow out of?
  18. Slug bug black! Cool little bug. Did this kit have the decals for Herbie?
  19. As mentioned above with "Keep on truckin" Man this looks straight out of and old Truckin' Mag shoot. Awesome build and another thing I love is the single axle trailer. All together what a combo!
  20. I'm gonna steal that battery!
  21. You get a guess of the different breed?
  22. Thanks for the tip! For a while I worked in an oil change place and have wondered how to get the look of these new fangled cars. I know the view lol
  23. So out of curiosity, I have seen the record for most online at one time. Also there is a breakdown of most posted. I was wondering what the most viewed was and or is this year or all time. Such as community builds has a ton. I'd love to see a spot for the longest running threads.
  24. I am really peaked at the 4 wheeler Idea. I knew a crazy biker that had an old Harley Shovelhead mated to a Nova Frame that housed a 500CI Caddy! I tell the truth! I happen to have a couple of bike kits that are not complete. Hmm lol.
  25. With the dry brush are you talking like a chalk? I'm not so familiar on it yet but have been more than interested so advice is more than welcome And the yellow wheels.... hmmm.... It will tie in with decals of Mustang that has wheels but it is a much different breed and thats the only hint lol
