  1. That would be cool, I've been looking for a 1/25 scale mullet
  2. Welcome Erik!!! Great job on the Yamaha, very realistic!
  3. Wow, that many 1/64 JL diecasts made? People must really be sitting on them (I have 3 ) because they usually go for $25-30 each on eBay, and I've never seen one at a toy/diecast show. I had HUGE interest in this resin kit awhile back, but maybe now since 2011 was the final production year for the 1:1, folks have forgotten the HHR for the most part
  4. Casey, if Revell went as far as doing the tooling for the Cutlass, I wonder why they would pull the plug on it? They already made the investment $$$ Oh, and WELCOME John!
  5. X2!!!
  6. Welcome Doug!!! Awesome build!
  7. Cool! It's even got the "ice cream" in the middle!
  8. The HHR has never been kitted or done as a promo...There were small quantities of Johnny Lightning 1/64 diecasts done in '06 in two colors, blue & silver. There was the large plastic Road Ripper musical toy (approx. 1/16 scale) also, and the uber-rare Road Ripper 1/26ish scale wired remote control, in which this master-in-progress is based:
  9. I always liked Rick Fairless' show on SPEED for the entertainment value, but his bikes were pretty cool too! http://www.strokersdallas.com/
  10. Wow, keep these awesome builds coming Clifford! Do you have a scale version of your HHR panel & trailer combo???
  11. Very cool so far!
  12. Looks great!
  13. Very cool! Shaping up nicely
  14. Cool! A 1/16 scale drag Jeep CJ...not something you see everyday Looks like some neat drivetrain parts Casey, can't wait to see it come together!
  15. Chris, R&R does a '72 Ford pickup, here's the one Chuck Most built!
  16. Who cares if they were ever built in 1:1, if it looks cool to you & makes you feel all warm & fuzzy inside, that's all that matters, right? That's one of the great things about this hobby, you can do all sorts of crazy things in scale that you'd never consider or be able to afford in 1:1 The bullet-nose Studes were done as Gassers, but this is a stretch
  17. Good stuff there John! A DOHC, 12 cylinder HEMI Me likey! I've gotcha beat time-wise on this one...over 19 years! My MPC 1968 Impala convertible project, to replicate my 1:1 Bought the not-quite mint promo in 1992, tinkered with it a bit, then put away until '98 when Revell came out with the '65 droptop, which is giving up it's separate windshield frame and uptop. And my 1:1...my Dad bought new! Original paint, top, interior. 325/396, M20 4-speed, 12 bolt posi. 62K original no-winter miles. this car is like a brother to me, Dad ordered it a month after I was born
