  1. Jon, you can really see it when the wheel openings are cut out:
  2. Chuck, as much as I LOVE pickups, Jeeps, SUVs, and other light-to-medium duty trucks, I really don't think all-new kits of the newer trucks would sell all that well. Now maybe if they'd tool up all-new kits of more classic trucks (I'd be happy if they'd reissue the old ones) they would sell well. If the Van reissues all sell out quickly, maybe they will revisit this catagory. Just look at the limited growth we've had on ORM...a site that tailors to these vehicles (even YOU don't come and visit anymore ) I wonder how the Revell '99 Silverado sold since it's release???
  3. Just think...one day we'll be able to upload a CAD of our favorite vehicle, the 3D printer will spit out accurate, scaled to whatever- size-we-choose assembly parts, and all from the comfort of our own home... I'll be able to build that Yugo after all
  4. Get building John!!! Your hobby room doesn't have to be ready...I've done complete projects STANDING at the kitchen counter, and I'll do it again if necessary
  5. Neat build Hans!
  6. Great scratching so far!
  7. Another great piece from the talented hands of Peter Lombardo! Can't wait to see it come together! I hope that even after the fiasco with the cheats that never paid you for the art deco roadsters, you'll consider selling these great shells too!
  8. Not quite a "mullet" huh? I'd be happy if the wheels and "Moon" tank were faithful replicas...
  9. I've decided to put this one back on the bench...It'll be built in the classic 80s ProStreet style. Solid Centerlines, possibly mono-chromatic paint, not quite sure yet. Been tinkering with it, will post pics soon. May even see a Jeep hauling it on a trailer
  10. Great news! It's shaping up to be a good new year for us builders! Let's support the effort with lots of kit sales, then we'll get more new releases
  11. Chuck, if that filler piece out back isn't glued in yet, you could make a "hot tub" out of it for a real party Or a Pike's Peak racer, to make sure it's there on time for the next "Summit" meeting
  12. EXCELLENT!!!
  13. Neat Rodney! That's a good gig you get every once in awhile...when's the party?
  14. Very festive diorama, nice job!
  15. Very cool Drew! Eric does nice work, that'll build into a neat car hauler
  16. Very nice job, both of you!
  17. Waaay cool Chuck! Would anyone ever do this in 1:1??? Probably not, but that's what's great about scale modeling! We can $afford$ to do things that aren't easily done in steel Looking forward to this one coming together
  18. SWEEEET!!!
  19. Very cool Lanny! I noticed (as did others) the same wheelbase thing on my gasser build...not sure what the issue is
