  1. Nicely done Joe!
  2. Sinister! Deadly! Very cool! Great build, and a perfect time of year for it...
  3. Use the email addy that begins with "cnaind" as the other is no longer valid...it always "bounced back" when I tried using it.
  4. I emailed him a few weeks ago, haven't heard anything back Bart Orlans, can you contact him to see if he's OK???
  5. Great build David! Welcome to the BEST place on the 'net for model cars!
  6. Yep, an LTZ with the nice 20" wheels
  7. VERY nice! Wish you would have had a mold made prior to painting
  8. I wonder if the AMC V8 in this kit is decent?
  9. It's close enough for Government work! Especially when the kit makers aren't coming out with any new pickup/SUV/light commercial vehicles I've stripped mine down, the size is just a bit smaller than Revell's '99 Silverado. This Tahoe would work well for a GMC master, as many parts are similar, like the dash, front bumper top pad/shape. The new Silverado differs quite a bit...
  10. Mr. Metzner, Could you verify the correct pronunciation of Moebius for us? I'm a newbie to your kits, and I've heard it different ways, and since there will be many Hudsons (and soon the 300) built here, we should all be saying it right I believe this way is INCORRECT: MOOY-BUS? And BTW, thanks for the great kits!
  11. Mark, if you can't get things worked out on the current host site, copy & paste everything onto a proboards site like our Off Road models site. They seem to be very reliable and hold tons of content. http://www.proboards.com/ You can check out our site (link in my signature) and if you have any questions, just ask as a friend & I built the forums there.
  12. Thanks again everyone! I had my doubts about a gasser with this "bathtub" body style, but I think it can work! Doesn't look as "slabsided" with the rear wheel openings cut out. Bernard, cool photochop! I seriously thought about altering the wheelbase, as it does look a little long to me, but I really don't like the looks of the AWB cars so much, even though they are a key part of drag racing history and did serve a purpose in their day. Virgil, my plan is to remove all of the trim from this one, and possibly drill all of the tiny trim holes, kinda make it a "barn find" that was slightly freshened up, and now serving duty as a wicked street-driven work-in-progress
  13. Wow! That's sharp! Another great build from you Ron!
  14. Looks great Walt!
  15. Lookin' good so far Dave!
  16. Great finds Chuck! I haven't seen any 1:1 drag cars yet though in my searching Here's a Hudson forum for reference pics: http://www.hudsonmotorcar.org/coppermine/displayimage/album=1/pos=1.html
  17. Thanks guys! I think these will make cool gassers. The wheelbase does look long Walt, not sure if it's an optical illusion, or because we've never seen the rear wheels fully exposed on a Hudson before
  18. I like where this is going! Very coool!
  19. Here's my plan for this first one...I love this kit. Comments, suggestions welcome!
  20. Nice!
  21. Really looking forward to what you got cookin' for these Doc!
