  1. Tom, you are contradicting yourself here...there ARE numbers within the VIN that are also within the engine stampings, that's how you can verify if the engine is original to the car. Unless someone has gotten into the really dishonest "restamping" thing With GM cars, the "protect-o-plate" is a vital part of original cars documentation. I have an all original 1968 Impala convertible (see my sig) with all of it's original paperwork including sales invoice, window sticker, protect-o-plate, etc. My Dad bought it new!
  2. Looking forward to pics Jordan! You can post 'em on ORM now though...

  7. Nice photoshopping Virgil! Here's the "scullcano" we made a few weeks ago for our daughter's 4th grade science project...I thought it would fit the time of year, rather than the dirt mound template the teacher gave out as an example. About $15 worth of stuff from Target's Halloween aisles, a few scraps of PVC pipe, baking soda, vinegar, and lime green food coloring mix, spewing from his head! Was a big hit at school!
  8. That's gotta be a first...a slammed Hummer! Kewl!
  9. This show date isn't far away! Sully, could you post the info again, like show times, address, etc? Your photobucket links in your 1st post are gone...
  10. Agreed! Why wouldn't the manufacturers want to tool up an all-new kit of a wild looking body style like this? The possibilities are endless:
  11. All great builds Terry! My favorite era of GM trucks...now if we just had a resin panel truck again
  12. X4 on the styrene Airflow!
  13. That would be the SpecCast pre-painted diecast my friend, with different wheels/tires added. Couldn't pass it up, loved the paint scheme
  14. Here's what's going to be pulling the prostreet Pacer

Wow Gerald, you're artistic in styrene AND on paper! Very nice!
  16. That sure is a nice, very realistic Dodge!
  17. Yep, if all of the kits that were announced actually make it onto retailers shelves, we've got some good stuff coming our way!
  18. Neat idea!
  19. Wow Gerald, she's a beauty! Oh, and welcome to the best place on the planet for model cars! Looking forward to seeing more of you builds! Nice photo tutorial on how you built it also!
  20. If the 1:1 frame is configured like this, I think it would be OK!
