  1. Very nice Jim!!! Love the colors!
  2. I'm sure with your skills you can scratch a dash Chuck, can't wait to see more of this!
  3. Nice work Wayne!!!
  4. WOW!!!
  5. Looking good my friend! Yes, much better pics, black is really tough to photograph without a lighter background and LOTS of light. I like the lowered stance, and those BIG rear meats Once you get the doghouse cut out Dave, that gets rid of quite a bit of weight, hopefully the chassis will then handle the weight without actual spring steel leafs and coils!
  6. Cool Mike!!! I've got a 1:1 '87 LS Monte here in the driveway
  7. NICE!!!
  8. http://www.amcpacer.com/history/statsfacts.asp Ya learn something new everyday! I never knew the doors were different, and yes, the MPC kit has the 4" longer door on the passenger side, I was wondering why something looked funky while enlarging the rear wheel openings Thanks everyone for the encouragement, this was kinda started as a joke to the "12 mile Pacer" thread, but I kinda like the look of it, so I'll keep it going
  9. Almost there Hugh, looking GREAT!
  10. Yeah baby, kewl!!!
  11. Wow Curt, nice job! Those would qualify for "real or model"

    Vanbulance

    Neat!!!
  13. Welcome Paul!
  14. Ever since I posted the 12 original mile Pacer, I just had to start on this: Couldn't even find a good pic of one on the interweb...I guess no one builds them in 1:1 either!
  15. Aaron, I used one of the stock wheels for a "modular" wheel project to work with the SoReal line of tires: Alan @ Ma's resin is reproducing about 20 or so different centers I did, along with the "hoops", hopefully available soon! I have two of the stock rims left, would they be worth casting?
  16. Maybe Chrysler bought this thing to put in their historical museum???
  17. Looks great so far Bill! Can't wait to see her finished
  18. Very cooool!

    Hell Camino

    Great flames!!!
  20. I too am looking forward to the new Pittsburgh location Terry...the HobbyTown you speak of is pretty lame for plastic kits, so I'm hoping the Hobby Lobby will be better, I know the ones near me in Ohio are pretty good.
  21. Welcome Joseph! Looking forward to seeing some of your builds
  22. This is looking sinister already Dave!!! These cars are mean looking whether they are nose up, or down! The original black sure looks good with this theme, especially since the purple power took the silver off of the stone guards, door handles, trim, etc. It really makes me feel good that I could inspire someone, now if I could just work on my kids Looking forward to more
  23. Thanks Dave. I agree, the wide rear tires are staying, I tried a few narrower ones & just don't like the looks on this. Just have to settle on the right wheels. Greg, I thought I'd love the spoke wheels up front as they looked great when I assembled the halves, but I'm just not feelin' it on the bulletnose, they'll be saved for another gasser Thanks again everyone for the positive comments, I'm hoping to see some new bulletnose Stude WIPs on here soon
  24. Now THAT'S different! KEWL!!!
