  1. Nice work!
  2. Those are all beauties Ed!
  3. Nice work Rodney! You need to join us here with your build... off road linky
  4. If you like building trucks & other 4x4s & off-road vehicles, this is the place to be!
  5. Someone already casts a Cheetah, can't remember who though? How about a Jeep FC truck from the late fifties/early sixties? Someone made one at one time, heard it wasn't so great. Or a 1950 Buick sedanette conversion for AMT fleetline.
  6. Saweeeeeet!!!
  7. Looking good so far Breck!!! Nice paint color, subtle, but not the drivetrain! When posting pics next time, could you include a pic of the optional Centerline wheels in the kit, I'd like to see if they are useable for a project before I buy the kit, thanks in advance!
  8. Nice rust! Sure would like to find a 1:1 steel bodied Willys in a field!
  9. Thanks Roger & Dave! I think I have a Pro Stock kit, I'll have to dig it out & check the rims. Anyone have a pic of the Convo-Pros in the Nova SS kit?
  10. Again, nice work Chan! Great scratchbuilding!
  11. Nice job on those Chan! I like the weathering, very realistic. And BTW, Welcome to the site!
  12. Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows of these Centerline HT rims in any kit? I know they won't be six-lug like those in the pic, but I can fix that! Thanks in advance!

    VW Pickup

Got excited when I saw your title expecting a water-cooled VW pickup based on the AMT Rabbit, but your air-cooled is very nice! Welcome to the site BTW!
  14. Matt, there are separate buckets & a console in the latest issue with the blue box art.
  15. Really nice work you guys are doing! I was wondering when rapid-prototyping would be feasible for the model world... How do you start a new project? With a cad file, or a photo, or a 1:1 to scan? Maybe a scale model to scan? Do tell...
  16. I think sometimes though people get tired of paying eBay's ever-rising fees, so extra shipping charges with lower prices is a way to keep more money for yourself. I once bought some 1:1 take-off wheels for dirt cheap with a high shipping charge...ended up paying $40/wheel for new GM wheels shipped. Sometimes there's more than one way to skin a cat!
  17. Welcome to the site Eric!!! I think you'll find model car/truck building less expensive than electric guitar building...I think
  18. Welcome to the site Jason!!! Nice work you're doing there...smooth lines & transitions! Darin, yours looks good too! There might be life in that kit yet!
  19. Welcome to the site Jim!!! You'll enjoy your time here!
  20. I'll be surprised if Michael is on form right out of the box...his sabatical will show for awhile IMHO, especially with the limited testing.
  21. Welcome to the site James!!! Great place here, wish I had found out about it years ago! Looking forward to seeing your builds!
  22. My problem too! Is it the usual "I have a headache" excuse???
  23. Wow!!! Love the paint!
  24. Nice find of a great subject! I think you should just clear over the swirled trim parts!
  25. Neat project Dave!!! Can't wait to see more. Good luck with your move, I think I'd rather take a beating than move!
