  1. That's a beauty!
  2. I got my Jeep JK from a private seller on eBay...they had a BIN of $19.99 or best offer + $15.00 S&H, I offered $15 & they took it. With US postal rates what they are nowadays, I didn't think $30 shipped from China was bad, especially when these are unavailable here. Arrived in 13 days!
  3. Welcome Robert!!!
  4. Looking good!
  5. Tom, both of your vans are Chevys...they would have a solid front axle with a passenger side differential. All parts easily found in donor kits, scratched with a center section & new axle tubes, or available in resin. Come see us here for conversions like this already done: 4x4 van linky Any off-road or 4x4 info you'll ever need can be found here!
  6. Very cool Raymond! and BTW, welcome to the site!
  7. Here's a Welly Jeep Wrangler JK in 1/24. Just came in the mail today! Not available from US dealers so this one came directly from China. Going to convert to the four-door Unlimited, with a lift & some big meats on it!
  8. By chance would anyone have a set of instructions for this oddball they could scan for me? Thanks in advance!
  9. Looks great Mark!!!
  10. I just picked up a sedan delivery yesterday at my LHS! I've been in the place many times since 1998 & have never seen these on his shelves...I thought they must have been reissued, but no?
  11. Sometimes if ya want a certain subject, who cares if it's metal...you can still kitbash, modify, & scratch parts for it! Here's a Willys I'm working on, I'll scratch a styrene original style bed for it... Here's a very nice pushmower that comes with one version of the JD SpecCast F250...
  12. More excellent choices!!!
  13. Oooh, me likey! I can see that lifted with some big ol' Super Swampers, dana 60s...
  14. I know this is a longshot, but trying to find someone that has a Welly or Jada 1/24 Jeep Wrangler JK to see how they are for accuracy and "the look". Only online pics to look at, haven't had one in my hands to see how either one looks, just wanted an opinion or two before deciding which one to buy. The Welly is supposedly still in production, but the only place I've found them is eBay, mostly from Chinese sellers. Contacted Welly, they couldn't even give me a US dealer contact that has 'em! The Jada is out production I believe, same thing, only eBay sellers seem to have it...
  15. Here's an Intrigue...don't think they're worth that kinda money, but if you hold out, you could probably score one alot cheaper... http://cgi.ebay.com/1998-Oldsmobile-Intrigue-black-AMT-ERTL-promo-model-mib_W0QQitemZ250605201338QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3a593be7ba
  16. Maybe try this stuff? Supposed to be re-useable... http://www.artclayworld.com/CartGenie/prod-696.htm There was a thread about it on the "other" site with the initials SA
  17. Very nice!
  18. Welcome to the site Brian! I thought about that very thing when we owned a 98 GT coupe, but sold it a few years ago & forgot about it. I believe there was a promo done of the cousin car the Olds Intrigue, maybe that combined with parts like the fascias from a NASCAR GP body could produce a realistic replica?
  19. Nice & beasty Shawn!
  20. Me Likey, thanks for the pic!
  21. Very unique, looks great Rodney! There's another place I know of where you should post that... Hey, what wheels are those? Got a straight-on pic?
  22. You can always drill out the offending unrealistic headlight & glue a chromed bucket behind, use a new lense & transform it completely. I modded a Scout grill this way...
  23. Original dealer brochures, too. Some of the old ones can get pricey though...here also... http://www.lov2xlr8.no/broch1.html
