  1. Kewl!!!
  2. Nice clean build Brandon!
  3. Awesome Vega wagon!!!
  4. Welcome to the site Eric!!! You can use urethanes on your models...once there is a good primer on the styrene, any topcoat can be used!
  5. The quarter panel cut lines actually line up quite nicely...in the pic it's only taped together for mock-up and shows some mismatch, once I glue it together permanently very little body work will be required. No formal roof for the 67...I'm not a big fan of 67's, but these make great parts kits for other full-sizers!
  6. Welcome to the site Doc!!! Excellent!!! Just added to my favorites list
  7. Yeah James, the 69 tub still fits. The parcel shelf will be short though, I can use the one from the 67 interior. As for color, that'll probably be a ways off, so lotsa time to decide...
  8. A razor saw mostly Brandon...I chain-drilled a few tight areas & filed & sanded to finish.
  9. Welcome to the site Paulo!!! Nice job on your 32!!!
  10. I dig full-size Chevrolets...here's one I've been wanting to try for years now, curiosity finally gave in, seems like it's gonna work out just fine. Chevrolet discontinued the fastback after the 1968 model year. Also the last year for vent windows. I've always liked the 69's, but wondered how it would look with the swoopy roof... I couldn't cut up a scarce 1969 to do this, so I'll use an easily obtainable AMT 1970. Here's what I started with: And the AMT 1967 fastback: Here's the cuts: And the necessary mock-up: Not sure if the vent windows will stay...it is a phantom after all!
  11. Welcome to the site Mike!!! I like the updates to your Monte interior, can't wait to see it finished!
  12. Hey George, HL isn't bad, they usually have a decent selection. They usually have 40% off coupons in Sunday's paper, but sign up for their emails & you can print it at home. Only good on one regularly priced item. Their kits are usually priced at full retail, but 40% off is less than the regular hobby shops. Our local HL does not accept competitors coupons, I tried They do sometimes have a few closeout kits, I've seen them for $5 before.
  13. Very realistic Brandon!!!
  14. Looks great so far Steve!
  15. Welcome to the site Brandon! Try using photobucket...it's free, easy, and you can put quite a few pics right into your post.

    Very nice likenesses Matt!
  20. If your pics are already uploaded to Photobucket from your computer, you should be able to lay your cursor on the pic you want to post, then a drop down appears. Right click to highlight & copy the IMG tag, then paste it into your post...works every time! I always downsize my pics on Photobucket to 640 x 480 (large screen), but you don't have to for this site. The site software will allow for a bigger pic & just have you click on image to view larger. Hope this helps...
  21. I like the rims, are they 1/25 scale? Aluminum or plastic? The tires kinda look like a sand paddle or pulling tire, just not very accurate.
  22. They're both very nice!
  23. I like it! Always wanted a 1:1 Ghia...and a kit!
  24. Here's two of the biggest aftermarket parts suppliers Gary: http://www.detailmaster.com/ http://www.modelcargarage.com/ And here's a site with just about every model link you could ever hope for! http://www.socalcarculture.com/modelcarlinks.html Oh yeah, for photos here just set up a Photobucket account or the like & copy & paste your IMG tag from your pics right into your post!
