  1. Are you going to enter the bidding war Sam?
  2. Looks AWESOME Billy!
  3. Hey John, if its gotta be an extended wheelbase panel (3/4 or 1 ton) then your only choice is in 1/34 scale and even then, it's a Chevy, not GMC. If it needs to be in 1/25 scale, you're in for a whole lotta work (but you can do it!) Good luck!
  4. Original MPC styrene is pricey, but there are several kits out there in resin...
  5. AWESOME Rich! Your Brother will love it!
  6. Super nice Tony!!! Sits JUST RIGHT!
  7. Good stuff Dale! Tell them they're doing GREAT & we can't wait to see the final product!
  8. That's how I'd do it Gary, the filler pieces are already made and of the same material! I think Nick Winter did one of these like that, if he doesn't see this and respond, send him a PM. Good luck and show us the results!
  9. Super nice work! I think that mower deck would be a GREAT seller in resin
  10. If we just use the 'View New Content' linky, you catch ALL new content, regardless of forum section. You can then choose what interests you from there
  11. Has anyone here used a Carrera 1/24 Cheetah body for a build? http://www.amazon.com/Carrera-Digital-Bill-Thomas-Cheetah/dp/B004OBY8MM
  12. Not sure Rich, I've never entered in an IPMS show. The flyer really says nothing more than 'automotive'
  13. This one is coming up soon Rich, and it's not far for you. Went last year, not a bad little show. Not a lot of automotive entries, but a pretty good vendor area. See you there? http://tripms.org/
  14. Very cool Dale! My 12 year old Daughter likes to look at my kits/builds, but that's as far as it goes Now my 5 year old Son, that's a different story...he's lickin' his chops to get building. I've done two snap kits with him, but his attention span is still a bit too short. All he wants to do now is mount the tires on the wheels and get it rolling, completed or not! Good luck with your kids builds, and make sure you post 'em up here on the forum!
  15. Sorry you didn't make it Steve, was looking forward to talking with you, its been awhile. I guess I'll get to see those awesome wheelsets sometime!
  16. Sorry you guys didn't make it I made the trip, roads weren't TOO bad (being Sunday helped with traffic). Looked like a few vendors didn't show, and there were only a fraction of the builds there usually are on the contest tables. Got a few bargains though
  17. NICE!!!
  18. Looks good Frank! Rarely do we see these stock, nice to see one that way
  19. Robert Kubica is the Polish driver that almost lost his life a few years back in a Rally car, partially severing his arm, along with other injuries. The barrier pierced the car like a can opener...I followed Robert in F1 prior to this crash, he would have been world champion eventually given the right equipment. Fans were hoping for an F1 comeback, but it seems unlikey. I think an excellent driver like Kubica will find success in ANY form of motor racing they participate in.
  20. Yep, Norm's a member here. He built a VERY cool Ariel Atom in scale http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69078&hl=atom
  21. Why the need for resin Jeremy? There are many 1/25 scale SBCs in styrene, the best ones that come to mind would be in recent Revell kits (69 Nova, 57 Bel Air, Rat Roaster, etc.) AMT made some nice ones over the years too (66 Nova, etc)
  22. Nice job Al Good to see an AMC once in a while!
