    '66 Impala

    Very SHARP Bruce!
  6. Oooh Tom, that root beer looks TASTY!
  7. Sorry to hear you're sick Steve, feel better soon! Al, did you make it? I looked for ya (well, by your pic anyway)... There were some SMOKIN' deals there, only spent $60 and came home with a tall kitchen garbage bag FULL of kits
  8. My copy was fine this time. Over the last four years, I've had two issues replaced promptly with no questions asked. I contacted them by email, received the copies a few days later...
  9. Looks good Al, nice & shiny How did you go about taking the logos off of the doors without damaging the paint?
  10. I'll see you gents there!
  11. Here you go Tom: http://www.ebay.com/itm/360720554209?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 You can also order directly from Jimmy: http://www.jimmyflintstonestudios.com/viewitem.php?productid=692
  12. Just checked the linky in 1st post, the price of these are back down to $14.99 now, get 'em while they're HOT!
  13. Thunderbolt? At least it would be FoMoCo...
  14. C'mon John, let's see the pics! You didn't steal anything from me, Mother Mopar did build a few 'verts anyway! Thanks for your build manners too John, but no worries here, looking forward to yours!
  15. Hey John, get your build thread going with pics! With my short attention span, I don't get many finished I've got a bit of progress since my last post, but not enough to be photo worthy. I'm anxious to see how you tackle a few things, and we can bounce ideas off of each other, so get going! A pink 'Cuda convertible, huh? I'm glad you're secure in your manhood! LOL
  16. Quality, not quantity Andy! Looks AWESOME, well done!
  17. WOW!!! Super nice build Yuriy, and welcome to the forum!
  18. Yes Andy, just keep checking the link in the 1st post. They keep up the quantity not quite in real time, but at least every 24 hrs. I bought 4 (all my local store had) one morning and the next day it showed out of stock...
  19. Looks GREAT from here John!
  20. Here's one of the main reasons I like redoing diecasts...as they say, nothing looks like metal like REAL METAL! The raised detail on the grille is easily sanded and polished. Now after I strip the paint and it's repainted, I'll carefully remove the new paint from the raised areas and clearcoat the whole thing
  21. Yep, those are a bit smallish Chuck... How about these? These are from the Danbury Mint '37 Studebaker pickup (with a cut-down IH hubcap), as compared with the combo that comes on the IH: Even the First Gear tire fits: They are yours if you want 'em, two of the whitewalls are yellowed though. Just PM me your mailing addy and I'll get them out to you... Oh, what about the artillery rims from the Revell '37 Ford pickups/panels???
  22. Very cool Gerry, looks GREAT!
