  1. That is one Super Nice - and of course SHINY Nova! That paint job is truly amazing and all of those little details whether they are in the engine bay or body, they look excellent. This might be one of my favorite builds I've seen from your bench, and I've seen some super nice builds from your bench earlier too.
  2. Great trick on the Blower Belt, I've never thought of doing that! I really need to try it because your belts look very good. Very nice work overall, too. Especially I like the inside of that body...Very nicely detailed.
  3. Heh, thanks Dale. It sure is great when there is real Drag Racing... Some Videos from Drag Race Week. Our Qualifying Runs Our Elimination Runs. And A Slow Motion Launch. '67 Plymouth Vip runs 7,901 in Street D! Street Qualification. Some Super Comp passes... Some Super Pro ET Qualifying Runs. Outlaw Qualifying Highlights. Super Pro Street Qualification. More Tomorrow...
  4. Thanks Tony! I bet yours will look very good when finished, this kit is so great quality that it will turn out very good in your hands. Keep us posted when you get to it .
  5. Another incredible build! Wow, these just keep coming. Really great to see a Stock '36 Ford for once, usually these are Hot Rodded, and sometimes they look good, but sometimes they can be really ugly. Stock is always very nice, just like this one. Perfect paint job and very nice and clean work overall. Keep these coming.
  6. Another stunning Model from your bench... These just keep coming and all are very, very nice. I can't believe that it's a 20 Year-old build, it looks so good and fresh to me. Perfect color choice and nice work with the BMF again. Very nice build of one of my favorite Mopars.
  7. WOW!!! Another stunning Mopar build from your bench ! You sure do nice work, the paint job is perfect on this one. I really like the body style too. So nice and clean... Congrats!
  8. Yes! That engine looks so fine, too! As all of your builds do. Very nice work with all of them.
  9. Very nice build of one of the finest looking cars of the '60s! The Engine Detail is very nice, and of course it is great to see a W-Block under the hood. Excellent paint work also and the look of this car is just perfect. Tires and all are just like 1:1 pieces. Incredible work.
  10. That is as good as it gets, fantastic build of great looking car! As others have said, the BMF work is very sharp. Nice paint job too, but my favorite is that engine! If I couldn't see the Headlight lenses on that picture, I'd say that the engine is real. Very nice work. For the lenses, I have used white paint too, so that you paint the lenses white and then remove the paint from the center so that chrome will be seen a bit there. Very simple and it sure does make a difference...Here's a picture of my Super Bee Headlights where I used that trick.
  11. Very nice X-Frame Chevy! I really like these bodies a lot and you did excellent job with this build. I like the look with body colored steelies and hubcaps, also the white walls fit very nicely to this. The other side with that text and black wall tires looks very good, too. Very nice engine detail, but as a fan of those "W" Engines, I'd like to see a better picture of it...It looks so good from here!
  12. That's just like me in Summer Vacations! Very nice work with the concept. I've always thought that this looks very good and your build is looking fantastic. I can't believe that you created that masterpiece in so short time. I can't wait to see more..Oh and what is your plan for the windshield? It looks quite tricky to my eye, and I have same kind of problem with one of my Corvettes.
  13. For me, this MCM is the Number One Forum, but I use some others more or less regularly too. Traditional Rods and Customs In Scale. 14. I've been drooling this one, really nice work! Pro Stockers are quite rarely seen subjects and I'd really like to build one. If I will, I hope it is okay to use this build as a reference?
  15. Very nice build with lots of detail! Fantastic job on scratchbuilding the frame, all tubes are perfectly on place and really nice detail on the engine and interior. Sweet paint job, too. Congrats.
  16. The subject doesn't fit into my biggest interests, but you definitely did a great job on this. It looks very good, nice and clean assembly and paint all over. But those wheel wells are Huge!
  17. Very nice build, and great save! I have always liked these Vintage Stock Cars, and this one is very nicely built. Very realistic build, thanks for sharing.
  18. Thanks Fellas! It sure means alot coming from as talented builders as you are. I'm really happy how this turned out, too. I can't wait to pick the Street Car version of this kit. Oh, and next NASCAR build will be The Fabulous Hudson Hornet since Petty Torino is on hold because the body has warped front fenders... Maybe some day I will fix that.
  19. Just came across this while searching reference pics of Ford FC Engines... Umm, that's quite unique I'd say.
  20. Yesterday at Local Model Car Show I spotted one Jo-Han Pinto FC for sale. The first thing that caught my eye was the box, it was just like brand new! Since the price tag was 25 Euros, which is currently $32, I decided to buy it since there can never be enough Jo-Han kits in my stash! The kit was unstarted, only taillight lenses are missing. Maybe I need to scratchbuild them... The plan is to build something that could have raced Back In The Day, with three-color paint scheme that will be something similar to the one in that box art. The engine is a Boss 429 (?) so all detail pics of those FC engines would be highly appreciated. I have some pics already, but still lots of details are unknown. I started by cutting the Rear Window cover with "Pinto" text away, since I want to have a real rear window in this build. Then, after sanding those mold seams away, I put some Bondo on the body to fix a couple of bad spots. Tomorrow I'll sand them and see if it is already a time for primer coat. Also I started cleaning up the chassis parts, but I have no pics of them yet. Here are pics of what was inside the box. http://public.fotki.com/NostalgicDrag/johan-ford-pinto-fc/
  21. I haven't built the Bel Air kit yet, but I have built some W-Blocks and have some in progress... This one is from Revell '62 Impala kit. This is AMT Engine, but I don't know where it is from. Then another AMT 409 with Cragar Blower.
  22. The Front Wheels... They look excellent. Where are they from? Really nice work with the engine, it looks like a Full Scale unit. Also the Hood Scoop is excellent. I'm looking forward of seeing this one completed, it looks so good already.
  23. I bought these from a Local Model Car Show, now the only problem is that where should I put those? The Van, Boat and Trailer kit has almost all parts, only a few small parts are missing. It was 20 Euros ($26) so I had to take it. The Pinto FC is unstarted, only taillights are missing, but with a good price I bought that too. Those all bodies were in one pack, which I bought because of that '56 Chevy Sedan. Oh and that '58 Impala is Trophy Series kit Glue Bomb, which will be built as a Custom.
  24. One More. Thanks for Looking. Any Feedback would be highly appreciated.
  25. No problems were found in Final Assembly. Only the front bumber holes needed a bit drilling, but otherwise everything went very well together. I scratchbuilt those Headlight Covers with the information from Dave Van, to who I'd like to say Special Thanks for the help that he has given on this build. Thanks! On to the pictures...
