  1. Great looking build again. I like these Vega Funny Cars a lot. You did excellent job with yours, nice paint and detail work. Nice job! Huh...What ?
  2. Very nice build, as always. Especially the paint job looks very good and you nailed the color on it. Very nice work overall, your builds always impress me.
  3. Oh Yeah, Donn Yost! The "Old Man" just didn't say anything to me. Donn's builds would be great to see in here, too. He sure builds high quality stuff. Thanks Kerry, great builds!! Especially I like the AWB Rambler, that looks simply perfect. Also that '60 Impala has always been my favorite. Great work!
  4. I think the scoop needs to be lower. In My Opinion, this is the highest Cowl Induction Scoop that looks good on 1st Generation Camaro. Yours may be a bit too high. But otherwise your paint and everything is looking very good. Keep going!
  5. Heh, well can't say that the Skyhawk engine bay had too much room either, but sounds like there wasn't any room at all in your friend's Monza. But that's it with these H-Bodies, a friend has one Monza too and he says that there's not much excess room either. Chevelle has a Electric Fan installed in front of the radiator. That was not because of the room, but it gives more performance for the engine when there are no unnecessary equipment to use and that Electric Fan also gives better cooling with the electric Water Pump. It's important in these Stockers to get the absolutely maximum performance, because engine tuning is very limited.
  6. Thanks Ray! Sean: Absolutely, the more builds we get, the better this CBP will be. ...And the Old Man? Who's that? Kerry: Sure, we want as much Eye Candy as possible. Finished builds will also give a good inspiration to get the builds going.
  7. I have a trouble when I need to make Headers for one Engine, you just made a complete army of them! Nice work, I've been following and drooling this one very closely... Gonna be another wild build!
  8. Nice looking Willys. That paint is spot on, perfect shade of blue and it sure looks Smooth & Shiny. Those Austin decals fit perfectly on this as well. Excellent build overall, count me in as another Gasser Fan. Keeps me going with my NHRA Legal '41 Plymouth Gasser with a Flathead.
  9. These are really rarely seen. Yours looks excellent, as always. Smooth and Shiny paint with nice detailing on the interior. Excellent BMF work again also.
  10. I've been missing your builds Marc, welcome back! I like the subject, since I've always thought that '71 Chevelle is much better than '70. Nice paint work also, excellent color choice. The interior looks sharp too. Those wheels just don't fit into this car, but that's just me, I have never liked any bigger wheels than 15".
  11. What year Monza was that? We had a '79 Skyhawk which has the same body also with Chevy Small Block and there were no problems to change the plugs or anything.. Maybe it was because of the Aftermarket Engine Mounts we had. The picture is not the best, it's taken right after the engine boiled over in the Local Cruising Night traffic jam... It was a decent car on the winter too. Yeah . You're right, nowadays only thing that can be seen is that plastic cover... But back to the original question... Not a '65 Chevy, but '74 Chevy Chevelle Stocker that I race with... Chevy 350 and lots of room on the engine bay. It sure is easy to change the plugs for this one. Picture from my License Run.
  12. Yep those two are completely different as others have mentioned. And converting a '31 Ford from '32 doesn't really make sense as others said, since you can get one '31 Ford from Monogram. I wish they'd re-release it, because I've always thought that '31 Ford is much better looking than a Deuce.
  13. Impressive build overall. Nice details, if that was photographed somewhere with the correct background, this could very well be in a next Real Or Model picture. On these Pre World War 1 cars, is it much harder to find reference material if compared to newer ones, for example 1950s cars? Just curios.
  14. Here is another very nice and clean build from your bench. Rarely seen and interesting subject with this good execution is very nice to see. Good work, especially the paint looks great on this one.
  15. Polished Plastic finish is quite rarely seen. Here it is impossible to tell that this is not painted, it looks so great. Overall excellent work, as always. The assembly is very nice and clean with no flaws.
  16. That is a great excuse to visit in a Donut Shop ! The Pickup is looking excellent. This is something that could have rolled out from Pontiac Factory. All shapes are perfect and body work is smooth, as is the paint. These kind of builds are really nice to follow, keep them coming.
  17. Very cool! One of the best looking Corvette Concepts ever, and you're doing fantastic job in here. The paint looks excellent and that would be a nice kit to have in resin too. I can't wait to see that with BMF on the chrome trims!
  18. Uh, that sure is ugly. It doesn't look like a Jeep, I think, it kinda brings some kind of European SUV into mind with that body style. I guess the 2002 Cherokee will stay in this Family.
  19. Very cool and unique build! The changes you've done are tasteful and very well executed. Nice paint work also, what did you use for the Bumbers? Very nice work.
  20. Das ist ein Gutes Idee, Jürgen! Ich muss das Idee probieren. (That is a good idea, Jürgen! I must try that. I have always used a method where I paint Satin Brown on the wooden area, and then brush paint some Clear Orange on it... That works somehow too, but your results are much better. Thanks for the great tip.
  21. Here is one picture that I found. Hope it helps. Oh, here's another one...
  22. Thanks Guys for the pictures and comments! The progress hasn't been too fast, since I've been a bit sick lately. But now I'm feeling better and I'm able to do some more work again and I started from the Frame. I had cleaned the Mold Flash already, but today it was putty time to cover those Ejector Pin Marks. Tomorrow I will sand them down, and put some more putty or paint primer on those parts.. We will see... Also the body has got some more putty and sanding. Maybe a primer coat tomorrow?
  23. I have made some more progress with the '41 Plymouth, here we go... After spending a good while searching for parts for rear axle, or actually the wheel backs/inner wheels were the problem to find... Well I borrowed them from my '58 Chevy Sedan Delivery Pro Street build so I must find own parts for this later. Also the body don't quite fit on the frame, and from the front end there is a massive gap between those Frame Rails and body. That will make the front end stance look lower. So while test fitting the stance, I noticed that it's too high. I must lower the front a bit for the next mock up, also the rear tires seem to be a bit too front so that needs to be fixed for the next time as well. Here are pics of the mock up, the front end is clearly too high. I got the front end to a proper height now. The springs were lowered a little and then I moved the Axle on the other side of the springs, so that it is now between the frame rails and springs, not under the springs like it was one the First Mock Up. Also with a bit of sanding I got the body fitting properly. The engine is also Mocked Up. Some more progress... I cut the Gas Tank away and covered that area with Sheet Plastic. Next I need to put some Bondo there, and hopefully then I can move on to the paint shop. Also I put some more Bondo on the body, some sanding coming up tomorrow and possibly after that, a coat of primer.
  24. Very nice '51 Chevy. Another one of those incredible, old builds that look like brand new. Nice work on it, smooth paint and excellent BMF work. I really like this one, makes me continuing my '51 Convertible.
  25. Stock '49 Mercury is certainly a subject you don't see every day, especially in 1/25 scale. If I had all parts with that AMT '49 Mercury Glue Bomb that I got while ago, I would have built it Stock also, but since it was missing some parts, I chopped it and started building a Custom. You did fantastic job in here, nice paint and detail. Very refreshing to see one of these built Stock, great work. And some day, I'll get another AMT Merc' and that'll be Stock too!
