  2. finishing the scratched built solenoid and started.
  3. reworking the cab with wiring holes and relays...
  4. bolts on trans and everywhere, wiring, hoses, etc,.
  5. sense the engine and transmission is very visible in this build I want to do a lot of detailing of both.

  8. I like the idea of hand making a tank, saves the kit part and can make it wider than the California Hauler tank, thanks for the ideas....
  9. Thanks guys, I am trying to keep going on this because I am really close to color and finishing this thing. My next model club meeting I will look in the spare parts boxes to see I may be able to get another tank there instead of stealing the tank from the california hauler kit.

Well I just discovered that the kit tank was to wide to fit correctly between the stacks, and since I do not want to have to shorten the tank I decided to use one from my only other truck kit the California hauler. so when I get to that kit Ill have to either scratch one or buy another kit. Have to keep my eye open for other snafus on this one.......

  12. quick mock up before having to install the engine, I like the straight pipe better and it fits pretty good....
  13. Got the shields done and added grab handles, for the exhaust pipes, so now the exhaust is done...
  14. I am going with straight pipes no bend, not as big as Scott's either...Working on the guards that would keep people off of the pipes...
  15. exhaust pipes almost complete....
  16. Getting the air intake to the turbo finalized. that was a big hurtle but was not to hard to make fit..... Also almost done with the exhaust pipes now working on how the exhaust will look to....
  17. Outside hinges. More interested in what the inside of the boxes actually look like, like if there are shelves, how deep. etc.

  19. now have to work on the hinges and the inside of the box, not sure how one looks have been doing an internet search for what these boxes would look like inside, however can not find any, does any body know of a site that may help me here?
  20. added motor mounts for the engine..... getting started on making the doors for the side of the ramp....
