  1. Yes James I actually bought some more goodies for it at hobby lobby the other day, dollar bills for a doll house that will be glued to the cab then painted over to give it that ghost effect, and some other goodies, just trying real hard to figure out what color to paint another build i have on here, been itching to get that other build out of the way to be able to concentrate 90 on this build and 10 on the revell london bus. I have reached the point that I want to get cranking on this build but its pulling me away to finish the other build too!
  2. Been working on the trailer a little bit. Have not forgotten this one have to many projects going on right now but after seeing Dr.Crankys burlesque build kinda gave me so extra inspiration.
  3. Fosay, that is awesome work! Welcome to the forumand i cant wait to see more.
  4. Ron and Jeff thank you for your comments, Ron, I can keep it up for another year or more (lol) but really wanting to get to an end with this one.
  5. Thanks Clay and Cranky. Thats it for the trailer, except now i have to work out what the inside wilk look like.
  6. got more detail to trailer but now all i have to do to trailer is finish the inside of the trailer and its done!!! Added some watch parts to the engine for the spark plug boots, Dr.Cranky style!
  7. how much shipped? lol that is really cool Me Likey!!!!
  8. Are you kidding me? thats it im out of the hobby!!! That thing is so unbelievable what craftsmanship I could never reach that level! Now there is a guy that could write a how to book that i would be the first in line to pick up. And it was a commission i would have not wanted to give that thing away.
  9. wow are you serious? that display is totally killer way to go Doc! I agree that would be cool, got to weather it!!!
  10. I havent given up on the surf board idea yet, just have to find a clever way to incorporate the board without it sticking out of place to much. I may even have to add another trailer on the casket trailer to add the board but thats in the planning stages yet.
  11. show this just now on the net, I may never get this thing done theres about 10 things on this thing may have to try out.....
  12. different type of bus but inspiring non the less!!!
  13. doing a lot of research on this thing im getting inspired by seeing all of the out of service buses in disarray, getting the bug to buy another kit and make it look like this! See more like this than in working condition.
  14. thanks James, yeah it would be cool to lower it i even thought about buying an extra one to make into a rolling stripper club, adding dance floor and miniature dance pools, maybe some day!
  15. Matt found this awesome forum from england and it does have a lot of routemaster builds underway the site has this walkaround of a routemaster including other cool pics as well: http://www.britmodel...topic=234912743 and this link has some cool pics of interior advertising cards that can be used to ad adverts to the interior:http://www.londontra...or_Posters.html
  16. Wow Matt that is an awesome site been checking out the work they are doing on those buses and totally blowing me away. Will be watching a few of those myself!
  17. Ian, cool I was the very southwest part of the state my self, so far red, black, silver......
  18. It was hard for me too, a lot for one kit i thought well one will show up in a bargain someday but didnt want to wait that long, got the wife to agree for an early fathers day gift so i got it a few months early but worked for me.
  19. Sure thing the company is ka models their website is www.ka-models.com and on the front of it says Diamond Pattern Mesh B KA-00004 and size is 0.25x0.4.
  20. Jonathan, it is for sure going box stock, i just wanted to put mesh in for the grill to make it look a lot more real than the decal that they supply in the kit for the grill material because any front shot of this bus you can see right thru it and the engine department will get some super detailing but other than that full box stock build. Most of all the work will be prepping the parts, removing mold lines, and the biggest challenge is the tons of seats and seat supports that need to be cleaned up but kept seperate because some of them fit certain frames and other ones don't. Anyway its gonna be a fun build, its an awesome kit looks to be like it should go together quit easy and lets see how my progress goes, will start on the engine and the seats next should have some progress pics by the end of this week.
  21. A few people i have talked to about the build want to do party buses and luxury RV builds out of theirs, but for the cost of the kit I'm a little worried about doing that and messing it up so box stock pretty much for me. Check out this website i came across, this guy built a luxury rv out of the revell neoplan luxury liner. Would love to see what he could do with this kit : http://www.way2manyhobbies.com/Neoplan_Luxury_RV_2.html
  22. Actually Harry I found this one under big rigs:http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=51339&hl=&fromsearch=1 I was thinking of putting mine over there but do not consider it a semi, even thou its as big as 1!
  23. Ok guys like i said not sure on the speed of it especially since the reapers ride/hell train has been in the making for two years and it will only be stock with a little engine and gear box detail thats it. But kinda using it as a slump buster as well since the other build has me stumped on paint/paint colors...... Got this book and it shows a lot of detail: It will help me out with wire placement and things, gonna be a whole lot of red paint!!!
