  1. That thing is totally amazing, but this is a build that inspires me to work harder on my builds and only drives me to do better. Like it has alread been said, WOOD? that part makes it really totally over the top AMAZING.
  2. Beautiful paint work, awesome work.......
  3. wow all the weathering is from pastel chalks? I have this set pictured here. if thats all you used on the bus i got to start trying this stuff then, Let me see what i can come up with on some test bodies.
  4. man that looks good, totally kick ass on the bus Kingtoy, see even with that much weathering my truck would make sense. Is there any one source (book, dvd, website, technique) that taught you how to do that?
  5. Thank you for all your comments, that is the biggest debate, rusted and weathered would be the natural way to go with this build, problem is I have never even tried a weathered model and am intimidated by the thought of turning out a horrible looking weathered vehicle, but may have to learn how on this one. Mr.Camaro I can tell you that its not gonna happen this year for super nats, but hopefully will happen next year thought................
  6. Yeah thats the original vision, but adding all the dead stuff im really torn which way to go on the paint
  7. I think that Im still apprehensive about how to go about painting it so a mental block for me is to keep adding stuff and details to it.....................
  8. made hinges for the lid of the coffin, i tried to make them like the hinges on the doors to the pickup but they didnt work so just went with a simple hinge, the long wires will be cut down when its painted and ready to go the extra length make it easier to work with right now.
  9. Dr.Cranky, yeah they are pretty big, more like 1/12th + scale, but some of the skulls on the truck are as small as 1/48th, its hard to find proper scale skulls, i liked the detail on them. I was thinking they could have been giant skulls brought back from hell centuries ago, may add some smaller ones if I can find them. They are huge thou.
  10. Found these fenders in the spares box, thought it needed some.................
  11. Dragging skulls in and out of hell....................................
  12. Removed the old lid from the casket from the Grandpas casket dragster and made my own lid from the sign foam, will primer and putty till its smooth.
  13. another hit as always, got mine today and its getting better with every issue.........................................
  14. Made some changes to the ride, shaved off headlights will use the headlights from the monster koach. Adding the casket body from grandpas dragster as a coffin trailer, will hinge it with full interior. And added to the tailights.............
  15. Thats what i am struggling with glossy would bring out the patterns but a vehicle from hell would have most of the paint scorched, thatis the biggest delimia flat or glossy? shooting for the most realism.
  16. Serioulsy i checked the receipts on what i bought allready and its crazy, and we think models are exspensive, check out a gamer store. I have decided thou on the paint that im going with my original idea of a ghost patterned out candy apple paint job/burgundy metal flake. I think that would make the gray stone thingys stick out really well.
  17. Again thank you all for your awesome comments. Did it again, went back to the gamer store and found more weapons and some bats, this thing needs bats. Somebody has to stop me now its over a hundred bucks for the gamer stuff and I am never gonna finish this thing if i keep adding to it.............
  18. Yeah riding the river styx. I have decided to keep thesurf board because i can leave thestand loose in the bed and just rest the board on theroof and take it off to display it seperate from time to time.
