  1. thats exactly what you hear when you take your car to the auto repair place to get work done.
  2. All of these are great ideas, i post here and photobucket and since starting my website i have more freedom to do more there than on a forum including a ton of photos and wording, with out taking up a lot of server space here or other forums.
  3. You cant post them here but there is the private message feature LOL
  4. I agree that would be awesome, someone in my town did just that with a local hobby shop of 25 years, this guy bought it lock stock and barrel for $225,000.00 and started running it himself 10 months ago. still running strong.
  5. Cool thanks for sharing I like to see stuff like this, the old time customizers rule.
  6. In fact in my opinion even the corvette after 1978 lost its appeal. The corvette of today does not have the flair or zing as it did in 1978, just my opinion.
  7. Agreed, to me all the cars of today are the same ol lame pos and has no beauty what so ever lost that around the 80's.................
  8. I just hope if he can bring it back that it will still be free.
  9. They did it was called emodelcars.com and I miss that site, hope Greg can find a way to bring it back as it was being free and all.
  10. Either way I as a seller was burnt to many times on ebay and havent used it in years, not being negative just had to many so called unhappy people try to keep the merch and try to get their money back.
  11. I want to make a cover for this with a spider web design, to give the illusion of a gate to hold the rats in it. Just to give it that much more of a cool factor. Its the bed area of my grim reaper build of a 1941 chevy pickup lowrider. The one i was working on would have been ok but would take me probably a month and a half of pure work and still might not fit right under the fake stone and top of coffin shaped edge.
  12. I have been trying to make this for ages, I know that they make it for the grilles for fords by detail master but looking for a larger sheet of it to put on a bed as a cover, its photoetched and do not have the resources to go into custom photo etch making, if any one else knows a source or an idea on how to make it would be very appreciative. Just a sheet or two of spider web design, for other parts of the car or truck. I tried to solder out of brass rod, that was a disaster. here is my attempt: Not very realistic and would take days to clean up the solder and even then would look pretty bad............
  13. Don't forget the forged pistons and crankshaft that he made out of a solid chunk of aluminum and the 30 weight oil in the engine...
  14. John, you never cease to amaze, truly a fine work of art in the making.
  15. Looks like its readyto roll down the road just mindblowin keepit up
  16. I always sand them off and if they come back as in a ghost appreance ill cover them with a thin sheet of sheet styrene and blend the edges, but that is only in an extreme case.
  17. This thing is coming out super sweet keep it coming!!!
  18. Just whicked...................................awesome cant wait for more..............
  19. Virgil that thing is so realistic its unreal its hard to believe just how real this car looks i have got to try making one of mine like this, thank you for posting
  20. Virgil i liked your letter in old skool rods I particularly like the '55 chevy that was in the pics, do you have any pics of it close up. It looks really awesome. also noticed that this issue of the mag has some model related ads and an article on modelrama in it, could it be a 1:1 car mag bringing back some model stuff regularly?
  21. WWWWWooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww is all that i can add!!!
  22. I agree with you on Sr's creation, by itself kinda neat but its not even considered a bike, its a trike thing with tracks, electric powered, if i was in the build off I would be contesting that as a viable entry against my bike creation, meaning Jesse or Jr should be upset at the fact that it isn't even a real bike.
  23. thats what im thinking great news and great releases ahead for us. Especially from Polar Lights.....................
  24. Loving the hinges, thank you for sharing.............
