  1. mike, you should consider using photobucket or another site to download pics from. the size of the pics you are using doesn't let the effort that you put into models, come through. they are on the "way" small side.
  2. the flashpoint hemi is a brad anderson unit. it is based on the 426 hemi......not a 392.
  3. while i'm no expert on what's available in 1/16 scale. there should be NO available kit to convert a 426 to a 392. these 2 engines are as different as night and day. about the only thing they share in common is the word hemi. i have seen some one with a donovan 417 kit available in 1/16. maybe some one can help with the company's name. the donovan would make your back-dated build period correct.
  4. the TDR 427 roadster is off the charts guys! the chassis/ drivetrain details are just fantastic. the 427 will add another warhead to the TDR arsenal of engines. kudos to the creators and the assembler. very fine job!
  5. looks great al!!! you've managed to hit another one out of the park. love the 4cyl. w/ chain drive blower.
  6. that's just killer, al!!! great looking build.
  7. yes, i know don. i've gotten at least 5 of them. last one was yesterday.
  8. you're off to good start! keep up the nice work.
  9. they look awesome mike! great looking workmanship. keep us posted on their progress!
  10. phenominal work tyrone! simply incredable!
  11. looks great al! your stuff always has the "cool" element to it. awesome job!
  12. tyrone, awesome build!!!! as is your other work on this board (69 & 70 camaro p/m cars). it is apparent to anyone, who knows drag cars, that you know EXACTLY what you're doing. your detail is extremely accurate. keep up the incredable work!
  13. that crossmember and the rack mounting look much-o better-o. the hemi front and midplates look real good too! keep at it!
  14. that looks "tons " better rick. great job on getting it to look more "correct". keep up the great work!
  15. hey leonard. '57 looks killer, man.

  16. renshape is great to work with. this particular density is very easy to work by hand. it's pretty soft but, i can machine a .020 fin in a valve cover and not have it chip off. so it's very nice to machine. as far as being pricey. i've heard the same thing said about TDR's products....but, i still buy them. it's all about how seriously do you want to take your model building. it draws a direct parallel to drag racing. you can choose to run top fuel or you can choose to run your mom's station wagon. the key is, it's your choice.
  17. the material is renshape 440. start. middle. current state. you can see them all at my photobucket.
  18. i'd be interested in a new body, rick. but i'd be interested in a pro mod '41 willy's. unlike any other suggestion you might get, this master is probably 80% done. all of you "small scale" pro mod guys. here's a chance to build a large pro mod car. here's the body. and so there's no complaining, i also mastered a 12" deck big block chevy. tunnel ram, splits, symetrical port heads, dry sump, belt drive cam. if you guys are interested in this kind of project, let me know. p.s for you blower guys. this motor started with a TDR block, TDR valve covers, and a by request TDR 14-71 blower. the rest is scratch.
  19. i recently won 2 subscriptions to model car magazine at the L.I.A.R.S. show. my question is: can i get the subsriptions to run back to back? if so, how should i handle mailing in the subscription cards? thank you.
  20. great looking job so far keith. keep up the good work.
  21. looking great rick. the enginecombo is looking like a sweet combo!!! keep up the awesome work.
