  1. Holy cow, that is a beautiful build
  2. Nice color choice! Looks like it was plucked straight from the showroom floor, way back in 1974

    '89 SHO

That turned out great! Good job on lowering the front end just enough to make it look "right"
  4. A shameless "bump" Anyway, I haven't been doing much with this build lately... life is sort of getting in the way. I was going to add those white stripes (decals) to the side of it but I'm not sure ~ what do you guys think?
  5. That paint turned out pretty smooth for being brushed on... nice! It will look even better with the black 2-tone ~ I'll be looking forward to seeing the progress
  6. Looking good... glad all the fuss about the engine color has ended Can't wait to see how it turns out, you're doing a great job so far
  7. I must be living in the wrong neighborhood... all the yardsales around here consist of baby clothes and cheap looking lampshades. Good luck on your build! I'll be watching your progress
  8. This is coming along great!
  9. Can't say I remember the tv series, or the car... but this build is sweet! Great job
  10. Wow, that paint is awesome! (love it)
  11. lol, Railfreak ~ these were just the few "survivors" from an earlier time in my life... I have destroyed more models than I care to remember, along with many of my childhood toys Usually after watching the Dukes of Hazzard, the A-team or Knight Rider, hah!
  12. Thanks for the comments guys! Glad to see it got some attention Midnightprowler ~ I'm not sure what the color was (forget) but I do remember it was "rustoleum" spray paint...
  13. Mean! Love the way everything fits together ~ great job!
  14. Nice paint scheme ~ gives this one a look all it's own
  15. Good choice for the color! With all the chrome and those wheels, the color is perfect ~ thanks for sharing
  16. Nice looking build No bells or whistles, nothing fancy... just a brute of a truck! I wouldn't mind taking it out for a spin!
  17. That's something you don't see every day ~ awesome job! That flat paint job really fits in with the model's look. And that engine is crazy! I'd hate to be the one who buys new tires every month
  18. Nice! I like the way this beast sits... mean looking. I had to scroll down though, in order to post my reply
  19. This is what my mailman needs, a new set of wheels to get the mail here on time But I'm just dreaming... awesome build! I like the super furry carpet, seems to go well with the model's theme.
  20. Hah! That's a very imaginative build ~ and it turned out great

    My Avanti

Hey Brian, looks great! I'm happy to have given you the inspiration to post this one Mine doesn't have an engine (yet) but now that I see yours, maybe I can do something more with mine... and I didn't realize the hood opened that way, interesting! Thanks for posting
  22. I've been building for as long as I can remember... but just now starting to learn a little "patience" in everything ~ and the little details go a long way for the final project. You have mastered this, obviously I'll be keeping an eye on this one, looks to be another fantastic job from a scale master. Thanks for sharing your projects!
  23. Hey Jim, thanks for the comment... I actually dug these out after seeing some of your old builds They're now sitting on a shelf instead of the shoebox. Ahhh, the memories! It's amazing what you remember with each model you see ~ like it was yesterday.
  24. Hey hey! This is from my Uncle's collection... he built it over 45 years ago and gave it to me along with most of his other models. You can see them here, if you're curious (just follow that long link below) http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=522545524&albumId=222633 This one looked just like the others... if you can imagine. I redid it maybe ten years ago, not sure... but this is how she turned out It still doesn't have an engine, but it looks good sitting there Thanks for looking!
