  1. What about having injectors sticking out of the hood....possibly at slightly different heights of each. Something like this....
  2. Man all is have to say is this is one Impressive build. You have talent that's for sure. Nice work!
  3. Ira... I am loving it. I love those fins you added to it. my first thought was some of those crazy cars over in Japan like that. The fins just go together great on this build. Adds even more life to what you have already done.
  4. Wayne.... Awesome work on this build. It sure has come together. the detail on the engine looks great and I love the electronics area on it. Nice work!
  5. Hey Fellas.... thanks for all of the kind words means a lot. Well i have made a tiny bit of more progress but no pictures. I finished getting the mounting holes in the heads to mound them to the block and then I got one of the heads drilled for the bolts for the headers. I ended up having to make a template to redo these heads. So I just need to finish the other head and then i can start getting them cleaned and prepped for paint. The valve covers have a little bit of work before I get some primer on them but they are really close. Paul.... when I come home for Thanksgiving I will have to bring this build with me to show you and your dad the progress.
  6. This is a very nice and clean build. Looks great!

  10. I have no idea how I missed this build. I am really digging this one. Its an awesome build and I really like the rubber on the lower portion of the quarter panel. Nice work!
  11. David.... It is awesome you are doing another 1/16th scale build. You are gonna knock this one out of the park like your last 1/16th scale dragster. I believe that I have seen a sneak peek in the most recent issue of MCM with the cover to the next issue and if I remember right your other dragster is on the cover . It is well deserved. You are making some great progress on this build and doing a fantastic job so far. Keep up the awesome work.
  12. Darryl... another one of your outstanding builds my friend. I really am digging the display base with the wheels up. So Cool!
  13. Rodger.... This is sure looking great man. Nice work.
  14. Niko... Very cool build and its looking great
  15. Wow Tyrone.... that is looking Sharp man. This paint is looking Killer! I couldn't agree with you more about the whole take your time with the paint and let it fully cure. That would be my piece of advice to anyone when it comes to painting. Take your time and not rush it. This one is to beautiful to rush it. Just awesome bro!
  16. Hey John.... Here are a few pics that I found of the Hilborn injector and the linkages. I will continue to look for more. Also I will be at the NHRA races in Vegas this weekend. I am not sure if they will have any of the Cackle cars out there or not but if they do I will make sure and get some good pics of the linkages for ya. and from a couple of these pics I am posting the linkage where the throttle cable connects to, makes me think it is a cable similar to what a transmission cable is and how it operates. I will see what else I can find for you but here are a few pics......

  22. Going with Model
  23. John... hey are you talking about the linkage that goes to the injector hat on one side and off the K style barrel valve??. You are talking about what connects to the gas pedal right? just trying to get a better feel of what you need. I can tell you that in some instances linkages were used and in others there were cables.I can see what I can dig up I have a few books on funny cars and front engine dragsters I can see if I can find something there too.
  24. Art... great work on this bud. It is looking killer. really like what you did with the manifold and injectors. Nice job and glad to see more progress done on this build.
