  1. Mike... you do some great work man. Looking good. I have a few frames that I want to scratch build myself. Mind me asking what type of glue you are using on the styrene?? I have been using weld on 3 myself. and thinking of drawing a few of my frames up in SolidWorks and printing them out 1:1 and making a jig for them. Anyway I can't wait to see more progress on this project.

  7. Well I know I haven't posted anything on this project in quite some time. Life got a litle busy and the models got pushed aside. Well I got laid off a month ago and I am getting back at building again. Anyway I am getting back on this Project so hopefully I will have some new progress to show everyone real soon.

  9. I am with Chris here, would you mind posting the contact info for this 1/16th Scale stuff and even the guy from your 1/16th scale drag board. Mal actually can you post the link to this drag board. would love to see more 1/16th scale stuff to give me some ideas. I have a bunch of 1/16 scale kits that I am wanting to do. Thanks again

  11. Very Nice Start to this kit. I am very excited about watching this build as I have plans for a 1/16 scale Funny car once I get one of my other kits completed. What kit did this start out as and is the body a resin body. I am asking because I haven't seen this body in 1/16 before. It seems lately I am all about looking for 1/16 scale stuff on the net... anyway my friend I can't wait to see more pictures of this.

  13. Thanks guys..... yea I have been itching at getting more done to this build so I can then start on another kit that I have been wanting to work on. I actually found a few parts that I need to order from replica and Minatures for this car.

  16. Hey Guys.... Sorry I haven't posted much on this lately but I was laid off work for 3 months and recently started a new job. So I have been getting settled in with it and haven't had much time to build much lately but I have a small update... Got the rear end painted up and hoping to get some more progress done in the next few days when I can squeeze some building time in.

  22. I personaly use 30ga wire for my spark plug wire on 1/24 & 1/25 scale kits. As others mentioned here I had got mine from radio shack years ago and I belive it was a roll of 50' or so for 2 to 4 dollars at the time. If you Can't find it at radio shack, I am sure you can find it at another electronics shop.

I have to say that the one thing I love about this model board is that the people here are so friendly and helpful. I had another one I started to post at and just didn't feel that the vib there was as friendly Again Fantastic job on this build Cranky..... I can't wait to see more builds from you. You do some amazing work my friend.
