Thanks Cranky.... YOu know what I feel like a DumbA$$ now....I just realized that this is the revell's '32 3 window kit you are building and I am working on the 5 window kit ... Oh man big ole brain fart for me today. I need to see if I can find one of those 3 window kits now.

Cranky.... This is BADA$$.... I absolutly love this paint on this '32. Fantastic job my friend. I can't wait to see more projess on this build. I do have to ask you where you got the headers for this engine? or did you scratch build them? I am wanting to find something like them for my '32 Rat Rod I am currently working on. Keep up the great work. The detail on this engine looks amazing. Very nicely done, what did you use for the spark plug boots?

Mooneyzs replied to larman's topic in Model Cars
Both of these kits turned out very nice. They look great, Very Clean builds. Keep up the great work. -
Thanks guys.... Kaseykahne... The Rims are Pegasus #2301 "T's" 23" and as promised here is a pic of the wagon that gave me the inspiration for this build. I took the pic with my cell phone as I was walking my dog out in California.....Every day as I walked my dog dog around the block at my parents I would see this wagon and just loved the look and stance which is why I build my kit the way I did.

Hey Guys, thanks again for all of the kind words. I appreciate them. Brian.... I am hoping to make it out to the Desert Scale Classic in April. I will have to download a pic off my cell phone that I took of a Real Magnum Wagon which was down the stree from my parents house when I had Visited them when I was in Cali for Christmas last year. It is what gave me the inspiration to pick up this kit and build it.

New Revell '32 Ford 5-window coupe
Mooneyzs replied to Bernard Kron's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I will have to check Tower Hobbies out for sure and see what they have. Any way of saving some money is this hobby is good isn't it -
Very Cool!! This is going to be a nice build for sure. Love that it is a different style of drag car. Can't wait to see the progress on this kit.

Joe... thanks Buddy... appreciate the compliments. I will be adding more pics as I get farther along in the build. Mike....you know I may of misunderstood ya...looking at what you are talking about now it may be a bit of a bear...lol I just looked at the pics again and I do have a step from the top to the main body on the A pillars. I did try to test fit as best as I could with the fill size winshield frame but I know I really need to cut it down to see how it really fits. I think I will try and work on this tomorrow. And you know I never thought of using .010 clear plastic for the winshield. I know I have some clear evergreen plastic in my stash, I will have to see if I have that size and maybe just make a whole new winshield. Thanks for that tip.

New Revell '32 Ford 5-window coupe

Joe I have to tell you that I was just like you with the Michaels 40% coupon... every week when I get a sunday paper I cut out the 40% coupon for Michaels cause if I can save some money on a kit I am going to...lol the one thing that I have noticed is that the Michaels that I go to here in Arizona only carry Revell kits. Is this the same for everyone else?? I have not noticed any AMT kits from them at all. wish they had more of a selection too haha But I can't complain with a few of the revell kits that I have picked up, they have been very nice. -
Thanks guys on all of the nice comments. It means alot to me. I am happy with the stance I just wish I could of had the rears tuck just a little like in my original pics of the car that I had in the "on the work bench" section. I am also very happy with going with these Pegasus rims, I felt they gave me the perfect look I was wanting. This was a very fun build for me. Cliffo... I have a 32 Rat Rod that I have posted progress on in "on the work bench" and I hope to get some new pics of it up soon, plus a few other kits that were started over 12 years ago, 2 Drag kits that I am itching to complete now.

Bob.... Great work on this kit. I said it over in the Drag section, she is a beauty and I love how it turned out. Very Nice and clean. I love the detail you put into it.

71 - 72 Elky in resin?
Mooneyzs replied to Bridgebuster's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I have the same Jimmy Flinstone '72 El Camino kit that I was going to use to make it look like my 1:1 71 El Camino some day. -
Thanks you Blake... I am really happy with how it came out. I was hoping that the rear was going to sit a little lower but once I got the interior tub in it, it seems it wasn't as low as I had planned for it but I still like how it came out. Its funny how after you finish a kit you think of a couple more things you should of done to it while building it...lol

Very cool build. I really like how good this turned out. The car looks fantastic.

Hello Everyone!!! I was finally able to put the last details on this kit and it is completed . So nice to complete a kit after being away from the hobby for a good 10 to 12 years. Here are some pics that I took today..... and by the way don't mind the weeds in the background its been raining here in AZ

New Revell '32 Ford 5-window coupe
Mooneyzs replied to Bernard Kron's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Hey Joe.... I have this same kit and it doesn't have the flathead engine in it. but i also have Revell's '32 sedan kit which it is identical to the 5 window kit and this one has the flathead in it. They are both very nice kits. I have the '32 5 window that I am building as a rat rod project. there's a thread I started in on the workbench and Hopefully I will get back to working on that kit now that I finished up a different one -
What kind of music.....
Mooneyzs replied to Hot_Rod_Bob's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hmmm... Lately I have been taking all of my model stuff out of my hobby room and working on the kitchen table so I can watch TV while building.... But as far as listening to music while building....I usually listen to Classic rock, Country, alternative rock...etc.. guess it depends my mood -
Thanks Dan..... I appreciate the info. Oh I forgot about the Spring Nationals Goodguys show next weekend. When I lived in California I used to always hit up the Goodguys show up in Pleasaton, taking my real car to show and my models with me. I will have to see if I can make it out next weekend.
