  2. This is such a cool thread. I can't wait to see more how this is done. Your Kits look great with those interior's Dave. I will be following this thread for sure.
  3. Shucky....This is going to look great. I like where you are going with this kit.
  4. What CAD program are you using there?? I do quite a bit in Solidworks and prior to that it was Pro-E.
  5. Wow Very nice Vette!!! this turned out great. Very clean!
  6. Those are very sweet. Great job
  7. Thanks Brian.... Fell free to ask me questions when you get to chopping a top. that is awesome what you picked up today. Very sweet!!
  8. ok Little more progress with this kit. Was able to shoot some Primer today just to see where I was with the body and as expected a few things that I missed were easier seen with the primer but not biggie they should be some easy fixes... Here are some more pics of the progress.....
  9. The Updated pics look Great. What did you use for the clear tubing from the valve covers to the tanks?
  10. Bob, She is looking Fantastic.... the paint looks great on the body, all of the detail looks nice. Keep up the great work. Grey would look good for the inside of the body panels or even aluminum since most of the dragster tins are bent from aluminum. Either would look great in my opinion.
  11. Thanks John, I appreciate the nice comments from an excellent builder like you. Your builds are so clean and the detail is outstanding. Big fan of your builds.
  12. Looking good so far. Very nice work. Can't wait to see more of this build
  13. this is some great stuff I think I may have to do some of this on a future Drag kit build
  14. Thanks Paul!! I am hoping to possibly come up maybe sometime towards the end of next month. It all depends on my job situation and all. But when I make it up there you know I will swing by to visit you and your dad for sure. I will bring some of these builds up with me as well so you can see it.
  15. Thanks Cranky.... I should hopefully have some pics up later of the body work done later today. I have just a little more sanding to do. and hopefully I will get to Primer it this afternoon.
  16. Hey Eric if you are wanting that exact 1993 Ford Cobra teal color, my recommendation is to go to an automotive paint supply store. I know some people don't want to spend the money on automotive paints cause some of the material can be pricey and may not have the equipment to spray them. when I was 19 or 20 I used to work in an Auto Body Supply store and we used to pump paint into aerosol spray cans all the time. and living here in AZ the few shops that I go to get my paint supplies. They will pump single stage enamels into cans. I personally use PPG's DBC base coat clear coat that I spray out of a HPLV detail gun. But believe this will expand on colors for people out there. with paying a couple more bucks than testors or tamiya paint cans with what I believe would be better paint in my opinion. I believe the cost is somewhere between 10 and 14 dollars for a 12oz can. They have tons of color books broken out by year and make of the manufacture.
  17. Looking forward to seeing this build progress... you have a great start so far.
  18. Very Cool so far. I like where this is going
  19. Great Pictures..... Thanks for posting the link. I was sure hoping to make it up from Az but just couldn't. Next year for sure.
  20. My guess as well was that either the axle broke or the studs were sheared off. that would be my best guess
  21. Bruce.... Very Nice build, she is beautiful. I love the choice of color. What color base did you use under the Brandywine??
  22. Very Nice Alex... The car looks great and I love the paint on it. Keep up the great work.
  23. It"s a great kit and you will like building it. Feel free to hijack any ideas of this build for yours. It's how we learn from seeing other peoples work. I just about have all of the body work completed I need add a little more body filler tonight and think she should be ready for some primer. I will post pics of it with no primer and with primer.
  24. Very Nice Build Alex!! It looks great!!
