  5. Great work...reminds me of some junkers in Alabama out in a field where we use to play as kids and thought there were ghosts that hung out there. Great stuff.

    Simple and sweet!! Looks great!!
  7. Really nice job on the interior. That bottom still looks like two colors to me but its cool looking, dont get me wrong. Nice builds.
  8. Got in on this build late but have caught up and WHAT A BUILD!!! From Thunder Road to Whiskey Go Go. In Atlanta in the 60s, we had our version of Whisky Go Go. Called the Chicken Q. Had Go Go Girls dancing in suspended cages in the drive thru eating area. It was not unusual to see rockers Lou Reed...Alice Cooper...Ted Nugent...and others there. Unfortunatly several of us football players were suspended for a game for carrousing there. Gosh, those were the days! Anyway....love the build, color, interior and the memories.
  9. Thats a keeper !! Good job.
  10. Nice clean build, but no pictures of interior to see what you were speaking of. Is that two colors on the bottom or am I just seeing things? Looks good. Both do.

  20. Thats definetly different and definetly cool looking. The story line is endless.
  21. Nice job there.
  22. I was indeed smilin....the humidity here gets so bad, you can cut it with a knife! Past few days has been better.
  23. Petty cool cars and collection.
  24. The original looks good and am sure the rebuild will also. Same body color? I have some built back in the early 60s. Like me, they are antiques!
  25. I feel the delima. Humidity and dampness is no good for outside painting. Can you take it to work,in a controled enviormnent, and paint it there. Maybe dryer and will have better results. Before sanding your supposingly orange peel, be sure the paint is dry dry dry. Just wait for a dryer day. You have waited this long....Or build a paint box and vent the paint out of a window.Simple and crude but works..... Large cardboard box with back cut out approx. size of small fan, with fan blowing away from you, to open window. I am sure these guys might have better options. Move to Arizona. ararararar Good Luck.
