  13. Looks great.. I want that for Xmas 1:1.
  14. Thats funny. When I saw the way the gables were framed and some of the other work...I had my suspicions. Thats a good thing. I am at the other end. Landscape arch. and designer for 35 years and have worked with builders in all aspects. Work mainly with homeowners now...redesigning, hardscapes, ponds, bridges and whatever it takes. Its good that we can take our work and move it into a hobby. Looking good. By the way...I had warping problems also when I built some out buildings, using wooden stir sticks, for my Dio and whitewashed them with water colors. But the warping kinda gave it that outdoor look. But I did register it in my brain...not to do it again. Anyway...keep on keepin on.
  15. Its all looking great. Shame about the warping thing. Gotta be something to correct it.Learn from the mistakes I guess. They do have tiles that resemble flooring but might be outa scale to a degree. You dont happen to be a house builder do you? Looks good.
  16. That looks like a fun build. Nice job.
  17. That is very ambitious. But with respect,I agree with the others. Check some other sites out on Dioramas...techniques and sizes. For a first, you want to rethink the size and come up with a plan and or theme first. Good luck.
  18. Thats lookin really good Tony. Like the steps and gable work. Is all your wood work out of balsa? I have not yet worked with styrine for Dios...only wood. keep on.

Some BMF will definitely help this puppy if you want. But looks good. That little gadget with the magnifying glass ? Did you use to tie your own flies for fishin? Thats what I use anyway. Nice.
  24. Dont know how much of slope you want, but I think it would work. Build layers. Even if it cracked, slopes are not all smooth as glass. Cracks can be worked in as part of the ground and muddiness, and alnatural. I had mogels and hills and they never seperated and when they did crack,I just used them. Get a small can. It comes in plastic tubs also.. Another thought for your slope is to make a foundation out of popcicle sticks. They will almost break but not quiet..and reglue to shape your slope. Then use the filler on top. If the filler cracks......you've got woodfiller. Thats what its for...to fill cracks. I know there are other products out there....but this is simple.
  25. It was a first of its kind then. And at that time one of my favs. as was J. Bridges. This one ought to be cool, bringing him back in as he was then and as he is now. But still, the vehicle....pretty cool.
