  1. The old days when people were included! I think that car would make a great Ranchero!
  2. Love the interior, nice paint, needs whitewalls to set it off (another 2.3 cents worth!)
  3. Still some filling and sanding yet to do, each prime coat shows up something new to work on! I think there is a 1/24 kit out there somewhere, may be an ebay item now though?
  4. Most of the major components of the rear interior completed. The floor space covers and housing still to come (no, I am not making the seats lie down!)
  5. Some fellows hereabouts were using some of the cooler Vallejo Game Colours and then gloss coating (have not tried it myself).
  6. Beauty! I have been thinking of doing a portable spar, the one on the Sherman chassis. You wouldn't by any chance have already done one?
  7. Sweet!
  8. Just for sake of curiosity, what did you have to change to 'canadianize' it?
  9. I was in high-school, up the coast a ways, but didnt make it to the fair.
  10. You may be able to cut a small hole in a piece of paper and spray through it. You may still have to mask but not so much and then polish out the bit of over-spray (had to do this on the '58 Impala after breaking the post).
  11. I have never gotten a two year shelf life out of Insta-cure!
  12. Thankyou Jason. I was beginning to second-guess myself, wondering if it was ever going to start looking the way I wanted it to! Next big hurdle will be the interior and then lastly will be those pesky rear windows. The rear lights/grill will be picky but should go together without too much trouble, I hope! I have had to re-engineer the body to chassis fit so that it now slides forward and up which I will have to bear in mind when constructing the rear interior.
  13. First primer on the completed body shape. Now to attack the fine points that the primer has revealed.
  14. I am not sure what the final result is to look like but if I am reading this correctly, could you not fill the 'hole' and sand everything flush and scribe any joints needed to match the other light mounting?
  15. As above, also as CA ages it takes longer to set up and will need to be kicked. You can tell if it is aging because it starts to smell bad.
  16. Thankyou, Marshall, I will have to wait while the primer cures and hardens up before I can continue. Then I will glue the clip together and fill the gaps with Milliput and then another round of sanding.
  17. Finally got the spoilers ready to be melded into the front clip, removing the model's horizontal engineering line.
  18. Looks good so far. But, why and what scale?
  19. I think that you are CERTIFIABLE! Just like everybody else on here (me included!)
  20. Very nice detailing and weathering, not over done. I also like the way that you put the models 'into' the diorama and not leave them sitting 'on top' like a lot of fellows do. A guy could be excused for thinking some of the photos are of the real thing. Great stuff!
  21. The flares will be lengthened as they come down and around the fender so it 'should' all line up. I plan on adding plastic to the outside of the flare stub visible in the pic and melding it into the fender to get the proper line. Theory being that it should end up looking like the photo evidence that is available so far.
  22. There is no law says you have to build models every day of the year! Go racing or whatever else turns your crank for a while, the models will be waiting for you when you are ready to come back to them.
