  1. Thank you, Anthony & Les. Anyone else?
  2. Hi, friends! I'm now biulding a ShowTruck with Italeri's Detroit Diesel in it. I guess it is DD 60 series. I already found some photos of single engine and couple PDF's from DD site, but the more reference material you have - the better. I'm looking for pictures of instaled DD 60. ShowTrucks are preferable. Thanks in advance, Sergey
  3. Thanks to every one for your help. I'm writting an article for a magazine now. Tim, Dennis & Leo, don't you mind if I use your words in my article as a history note?
  4. I see, Leo. I just wanted a little history. When I saw movies like "Convoy", I heared drivers complain about speed and lengh limits. I just wanted to know when (where) those limits was in action and when stoped. I can see truck manufacturers doesn't make COEs anymore.
  5. Thank you, Leo. Very usefull information. Where can I read about length laws (limits)? I heard COE were manufactured due these limits and would like to know when (where) Lenght limits were actual and when not.
  6. Thank you, Tim & Dennis. You helped me a lot. It's always interesting to learn something new about Trucks.
  7. Thank you, Ray. You just confirmed my guesses. Let's a little continue this theme. What can you tell me about Big custom sleepers ("Double Eagle" for example), riding on Stretched frame Tractors? How much does they usually cost? How comfortable they are?
  8. Many modelers here (including me) have the same thoughts about this truck. It is ugly, but it is attractive too. Bill, I love your Fords.
  9. Thank you,Dennis. I see your point. But why it take place mostly on the West Coast?
  10. Hi, fellows. I am a man from another country and have question, that creeping my mind. How does Stretched frame Tractors appear? I know, that they are very popular on the West coast, but WHY? Thanks in advance, Sergey
  11. Hi, Romell. Well done. I like the Engine and wheels and whole the Wrecker! Looks cool. I also like the LEDs. Do you plan to use 9V power supply? Good choice.
  12. Thank you, Earl and Clayton.
  13. Thank you, David & Tim. Let's continue I was have to lengthen the cardan shaft. The best thing found was brass tube 4mm. There is original cardan shaft on top, front half of cardan in the middle and rear half - below. As the shaft was lengthen and Angle of slope changed, I was have to make a crosspiece movable to simplify the assembling. It is great feature, but time consuming.
  14. Hi, Kyle. Look here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29218
  15. No, Mike. "RABID" - is a horror. Not a thriller...
  16. No, not "Mother Jugs and Speed", Barry. I guess the woman in the movie was infected with some kind of dessise, which turned two truckers into vegetables.... Any guesses?
  17. No, Dave. The Cannonball is comedy with Bert Rainolds. The movie I tallking about is something like a drama or thriller....
  18. Wnen I was a child (in early 80's) I saw American truck movie about the woman picked up by truckers. The ambulance was hanting for her all over the film until a group of truckers ketch and kick those medics. At the end of the movie two truckers (picked her up) was shown in medic chair. Unfortunatelly I don't remember much about it. All I remember is line of beautifull trucks with different paint schemes on the truck stop. Could anybody tell me which movie was that?
  19. Hi, Allen. Nice work. I have T2000 kit too and it has problem with hood shape and boubbles in windscreen too. But I think there is no such thing that couldn't be fixed if you realy want it. As for the boubbles - they could be drilled out and filled with "Future" several times, I think. The hardest sytuation have people, who haven't got windscreen at all.
  20. Outstanding, Daniel! I like the way you built it. Ispecially the kitchen. How have you made the sink?
  21. This is sucks! Thank you for information, Mr.mopar.
  22. Hi, Dave. I like that day cab, but don't forget about International 9900.
