  1. Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've just been cleaning up and sanding on the frame, getting it ready for paint. Nothing picture worthy really. I promise I'm working on it though! I'm hoping to have the frame painted next weekend. Stay tuned.
  2. Now I had to deal with the huge hole in the side of my block and I needed to produce some cylinder head detail. I also had to build up the motor mount a little bit as I lost some of it when I was trimming. You can see where I made my marks for spark plugs. Here I added some sheet styrene cut into short strips: Then I added some half-round: Then I was able to cover the rest of the hole with the side cover I scratched out of styrene sheet. It will be permanently attached after all painting is done.
  3. I started working on the motor today. I decided to go with an injected Chevy Six. I had some cleaning up to do on the original kit-supplied piece though. What I started with Some trimming done And a little more trimming

  6. I'm an assistant manager (will be manager in about 4 months) for the largest independent tire dealer in the Western United States. Those of you that live out here know who I'm talking about. I've been with them since 1996.

  20. Well, my plan was to have the frame assembled, painted and up off the ground on wheels/tires. If you don't want me to take it that far, just let me know. I've been looking at the list also and I was figuring that each of us would either need to do more when we have the car or recruit some more people to work on it. Anyways, just let me know.
