  2. What a colorful bunch! They look great! Nice job!!
  3. Is there a decal for the windshield washer bag?
  4. Nothing too spectacular. I found and ordered some aluminum velocity stacks to cut down and install on my throttle bodies. They should be here any day now. I spent last night cleaning up the bottom body plate and got it in primer. I would've posted pictures but it wasn't exactly exciting stuff. Still progress is progress. Lol Thanks for checking in!
  5. It really is like riding a bicycle!
  6. You know you can find him under the "members" section right?
  7. I haven't read every post so I apologize if this has been covered but..... Has anybody seen the decal sheet yet?
  8. I'll say that the Monogram kit has a better fit/finish thing going for it. There is not as much clean up to do to it either. It's a rather simple (read: plain) model that a person would probably need to add quite a bit to it if you're a details freak but overall, it's a great model. The only other thing I could say about the Monogram kit is that it looks great when sitting but itself but (to me anyway) it looks like it's too large. I'd say it scales out closer to a 1/22 or something. I haven't actually measured it but when it's sitting next to Monogram's '58 Thunderbird, it looks too big. It's proportionately appealing to the eye in itself though. In a nutshell, I would go with Monogram's kit over AMT's in my opinion.
  9. In that case, flock on brother!!
  10. Ahhhh gotcha.
  11. No progress has been posted? Am I missing something?
  12. Oh that's nice! Not something you see everyday too.
  13. I quit cold turkey about three years ago after smoking for over 15 years. I watched my grandmother die in a hospital bed from smoking. She was about 90 lbs and was in the fetal position and her whole body would rise and fall with every breath. She was laying there fighting for every bit of oxygen she could get. Then, about 6 months later we went camping (and what's camping without drinking and chain-smoking) and I layed in the tent trying to sleep all night long and I felt like I couldn't breathe just like my grandmother. It felt like breathing through a straw. It scared the hell out of me and I quit the next day and have never looked back. It's a nasty habit, it stinks, it's expensive and IT WILL KILL YOU! Quit now!
