  1. Oh my.....!
  2. That's awesome! This kit has been a major project (aka thorn-in-my-side) of mine now for about 10 years! Nice to see someone else be able to use it as a break from those major projects. I know it's a fairly straight-forward and nice looking kit. I've just gone over the top trying to detail it and rid it of it's mid-60's simplicities. Seeing yours makes me wonder what the hell I'm doing. Seriously though, nice job! I love it!
  3. That's good enough for me! I've gotta have one....or six.
  4. Maybe this debate could be moved to another topic so we're not cluttering what appears to be Tyler's last post....?
  5. LOVE it!!
  6. NICE!!!
  7. Of course! I JUST bought an original Johan '59 Dodge about two weeks ago! Just my luck!
  8. Thank you! I'll have to try that!
  9. Holy cow John! Fabulous work there!!
  10. Nicely done!!! That is so cool! Where did you get the stanchions?
  11. I agree with everything said above! VERY nice job on everything so far. What's your plan for the fender badging? This was a rare option for the full size Chev's in '57, much less '58 or '59. Most people don't even know that they existed! Can't wait to see the finished product!
  12. It's more than just scuba gear for me. It just builds into such a cool traditional rod. This one is wearing no paint on the body. The bare plastic was just rubbed out to a high shine. It just "does" it for me. Now hopefully someone reproduces the "Blue Beetle" decals!
  13. Is it the same shade of blue?
  14. Trucks are not my thing but THAT is an incredible model there! Very nice job!
  15. Well, it is/was looking amazing! Good luck with the rest!
  16. I dig it! Nice job!
  17. I use Duplicolor 1699 and have for years. I got sick of the frequent trips to NAPA so I just bought a case of it.
  18. Can we see some more of this? Please?
  19. Wowzers! I'm so excited and so happy I didn't shell out the $100-$150 for an original. This has been a grail kit for me and I was just about to pull the trigger!
  20. I'd be interested to see it as well. I love stuff like that.
  21. That's sharp! I like it a lot!
  22. Nice job Chuck!!
