  2. Is it just me, or is the A Roadster's body too long? Door too short? It just looks weird to me....

  7. Now that the Thunderbird is done, I can get crankin' on the Vette again! After going with the different grille setup, I needed to clean up the area behind it a bit. Here's a "before" shot The two upright bars were how the original grille mounted in the opening. Didn't need that anymore. 17. Larry Watson is my favorite painter/customizer so this car was done in his style. I started on this car a little over four years ago and I finally finished it up last night! It's the old Monogram kit. The front bumper had holes in it to install bumper guards. Those were eliminated and the bumper was rechromed. Seventy one holes were drilled into the grill and seventy one pin heads were installed to replicate grill buttons. The interior is box stock with the exception of foil and flocking. The car was dropped by way of scratch-built spindles, ball-point pen coil springs, dremel and Pabst Blue Ribbon. This one was a lot of fun but it also tested my patience along the way. I'm very happy to have this one wrapped up.
  18. I just recently picked up this kit also. I can't wait to see what you do with yours.
  19. I'd do both actually! I'd start with the alcohol like Richard suggested and then follow it up with a nice bath in some warm soapy water, rinse and then dry and you should be good to go!
  20. I love Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock! I'm actually going to my first meeting with the SABA guys tomorrow!
